@olive cosmos thanks for creating a new thread!
Please use /solved to delete this thread when you're done.
are you a developer?
no but I have SHSH blobs to dump from some arm64e iPads running unsigned versions of iPadOS 15
(yes I know I can't use them but I'd like to dump blobs just in case)
well you're going to have to show the errors
do these devices support trollstore by any chance?
Here's the output if I run make without the -k argument:
/Library/Developer/CommandLineTools/usr/bin/make -C Exploits/oobPCI all

linus explained this one
You need the macOS 13 SDK, use Xcode 14.0 or some other Xcode beta with that SDK. Or change io_main_t to io_master_t
also you didn't answer this ^
my moneys on anything arm64e higher than 15.4
Why would I need a beta version of Xcode if the Fugu15 GitHub page says that you need 14.1?
you don't need 14.1
then why does it say you do?
that's what linus used
but the issue isn't xcode, it's the SDK
that's what i just said
You need the macOS 13 SDK
How do I install that SDK manually?
the easiest way at the moment is by downloading xcode
It appears as though I already have the macOS 13.0 SDK installed...
alright, do you only have one version of xcode installed at the moment?
How would I be able to tell if I don't?
still haven't answered the Q though
do you have another version of xcode in /Applications
it's not complicated
doesn't look like it...
run xcodebuild -showsdks in a terminal
For some reason it says: xcode-select: error: tool 'xcodebuild' requires Xcode, but active developer directory '/Library/Developer/CommandLineTools' is a command line tools instance
that might be your issue
So how do I fix it?
i'm getting to that, hold on lol
sudo xcode-select --switch /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer
OK, that fixed it, now it outputs this when I run xcodebuild -showsdks:
DriverKit SDKs:
DriverKit 22.1 -sdk driverkit22.1
iOS SDKs:
iOS 16.1 -sdk iphoneos16.1
iOS Simulator SDKs:
Simulator - iOS 16.1 -sdk iphonesimulator16.1
macOS SDKs:
macOS 13.0 -sdk macosx13.0
macOS 13.0 -sdk macosx13.0
tvOS SDKs:
tvOS 16.1 -sdk appletvos16.1
tvOS Simulator SDKs:
Simulator - tvOS 16.1 -sdk appletvsimulator16.1
watchOS SDKs:
watchOS 9.1 -sdk watchos9.1
watchOS Simulator SDKs:
Simulator - watchOS 9.1 -sdk watchsimulator9.1```
try running make again and seeing if it does anything different
OK, that worked and it compiled. I tried sideloading the app onto an iPad mini (6th generation) running iPadOS 15.4 using Sideloady, but when opening the app it says:
Fugu15 installation failed!
Step 1/8 [Failed]
Failed to find ipa in FAT!
Any fixes?
Fugu15 won't install properly
there's a reason why i asked you about trollstore
- that device and version is supported
- you can install fugu15 with trollstore
OK, I tried installing it using TrollStore but it throws an error saying:
Install Error 175
Failed to sign the app. ldid returned ad
non zero status code.
Any fixes?
wrong ipa
not the one (installer) you compiled, the fugu15.ipa in the fugu15 folder
OK, that worked. Thanks!
