because if you bothered to look at the compatibility chart you would know iOS 16 isn't compatible

so you need to use custom latest of 15.7

Currently you can restore to the following versions with the latest SEP, baseband, and U1 (if on A13 or newer non-SE iPhone's) for your device:

For restores on devices that support iOS 15 and Wi-Fi only iPads, you currently must use the latest beta version of FutureRestore, see /tag futurerestore for a link.
