I’m experiencing an issue where the palera1n loader app doesn’t show, I tried fakefs, bindfs in the terminal, and then tried it a few more times by restoring iPhone yesterday and then trying again today I found that even after erasing all content and settings and downloading the palera1n app and going through the process there, once it’s done, the loader app still doesn’t appear. I tried restoring rootfs, and then retrying but it doesn’t seem to be doing the whole process, and still no sign of the loader app… does anyone have any suggestions? 🙂

Managed to finally, after a few days, jailbreak. I was stuck in DFU so I held the home and power button until the Apple logo came up to get out of it (on iPhone 6s) about 3 times with the same error until it started working, and now it’s booted up and I have the palera1n app 😃 thanks so much @west egret

iPad Air 2 was on 15.7.3 jailbroken with palera1n v1.41 bind/rootfs installed. While in an unjailbroken state (but not reverted), I upgraded to 15.7.4 and it appeared to be successful. I reverted after the upgrade, and tried to jailbreak w/rootfs (still on v1.41). The jb succeeds, but iOS boots up as 15.7.3.

palera1n v2.0 latest beta does not work. iOS just boots normally instead of in download mode after DFU.

I'm guessing the rootfs still somehow has iOS 15.7.3 on it...?

Is there any way to remove the rootfs completely and start fresh without doing a full restore?

I upgraded 15.7.3 -> 15.7.4 while iOS was booted normal but palera1n jb not yet removed. Update was successful and normal boot is 15.7.4, but reapplying the jailbreak (even after reverting jb) brings iOS back to 15.7.3.

If there is no way to remove/wipe the rootfs or somehow upgrade it in place (maybe in PangoOS CLI?), then I guess I'll just have to do a full restore. 😔

My terminal displays ´Timed out waiting for exploit trigger stage ´.

Use palera1n -f --force-revert to remove the existing fakefs, and then check to make sure you have enough space in Settings for fakefs (10 GB). Then try again
