Hi, whenever I try using palera1n, iOS 15.7.3, I get stuck after everything is completed. It just doesn’t want to boot into iOS. Palera1n says booting kernel but I get stuck at the black screen when making the root partition, or the white screen when trying to boot.

It's possible to dump on-board blobs without jailbreaking on checkm8 devices but with your setup jailbreaking and using deverser is probably easier

Probably not, use a USB-A cable with an adapter. (You can try the USB-C cable if that's all you have, as a small amount of them do work, but more likely than not, you won't be able to enter DFU mode)

I don’t really know if it’s palera1n specific but on certain packages like for example snowboard or any sort of thing that tweaks the homescreen or lock screen the springboard just crashes and then goes into safe mode, as soon as I uninstall the thingin it works just fine. I’m on iOS 16.1.1, a11 and tried it using Sileo and zebra. Also apps I try to install using for example altstore but the normal AppStore as well just don’t open and crash instantly. Here's the thing, I got filmic pro 7.2.1 from some site I can't name.
Using sideloadly, it loaded perfectly fine. And the app loaded up just fine too. But after loading the app tells me to check internet connection. (I'm not sure if it's DRM)
Filmic Pro 6.19.5 worked with Sideloadly, but that's way too old. I need a newer one. And I was told that the newer versions might require jailbroken device for it to work.
And... after jailbroken successfully, the IPA still don't work correctly.
Palera1n comes with Sileo, I know Cydia doesnt' work. But Appsync unified won't install on Sileo, I tried Filza too but it says no signature, I tried scarlet and it just gave me the same problem I had with Sideloadly.

On iOS devices you can only restore to signed firmwares. Currently only iOS 16.4 is signed i think.
An exception would be if you have blobs saved for the iOS you want to downgrade. Then you could restore to it even if it is unsigned. You can only save those blobs while the target version is signed by apple. Unfortunately 15.1.1 is unsigned for almost a year, so there is no way to downgrade

i would say installing palera1n is harder than 3ds modding, 3ds modding really only requires you know how to use a web browser for pichaxx setup and put files on an sd card and is very easy to troubleshoot if anything goes wrong where palera1n is alot harder to troubleshoot and there are less helper communities compared to 3ds hacking

- When I click the "Clear" button from the QuitAll Tweak, the button just disappears but no app gets closed.
- When I open YouTube after I installed uYou it just crashes.
- When I try to run GC games via DolphiniOS it says that that it cannot acquire JIT from csdbgd, even though it is also installed.

How long does jailbreaking iOS 15.7.3 with palen1x take?
The first time you use palera1n, it creates a fakefs, and you should see text on the touchscreen that says something like “Creating fakefs, may take up to 10 minutes”
Every time you use palera1n after that it should be very quick (under a minute)
If you see text that says “jbinit DIED!” that’s a different problem

palera1n is on there twice because different palera1n configurations allow you to use tethered or semi-tethered (palen1x can only do semi-tethered)

so when I jailbreak now and it dies and powers off. I will just have a un-jailbroken phone? And to re-jailbreak, I need to do the whole process again?

You need to restart your computer into palen1x and run only the final command (because the initial jailbreak is a 2-step process: run palera1n once to create fakefs, and run palera1n again to install the jailbreak)
So you don’t need to set the thumb drive up again, but you do have to boot into the thumb drive to rejailbreak

But I can just re install the palen1x into the thumb drive later after deleting it, right? Like I use it now and then go back to windows 11 and delete all the files in the thumb drive and add my personal files back. Then, when I need to use palen1x again, I just need to use ventoy.

You can do that but Ventoy repartitions the thumb drive so opening it in Explorer and deleting all the files won’t be sufficient to “fully” revert it. You’d have to repartition the drive or reinitialize it in some form.
In fact, it may be possible to keep using the drive as-is, since the thumb drive will have a lot of free space for .iso files (which you’ll only be using for palen1x), but Ventoy might get confused if you have files on the drive that aren’t bootable images.
