For my device, iPhone 7 ios 15.7.1, palerain’s tethered one worked flawlessly.

In case if anyone faces errors, do the following

1. ./palerain.sh —restorerootfs
2. Terminate all the processes or restart the device
3. Delete palerain folder, even from recycle bin
4. Clone fresh repo,install and then run palerain

Follow these above steps after every error like disk ejection, init failed, file exists during ram disk creation.

Also, the sideloaded ios 15.1.1 filza ipa works till ios 15.7.1, only you need is a jailbroken device with tweaks or root support.

I don't understand why there is any difference between entering dfu mode directly and entering dfu mode from recovery mode, they are both recognized as the same mode on itunes, but the results are very different in this script
