and i fixed it to work again just now, but looking at my logic in here (and even trying to trigger it) was NOT working. very peculiar.

either way i have it working again and once i sort out the mess i made with experimental changes i was making to vpnd and the server migration is finished ill have to be updating a SLEW of packages. but in the meantime i need to get back to some work-work research pretty badly right now.

im glad rmcache is still valuable, and to answer that question since i didnt last night, the launchservices database is in a 'random' location and rmcache is just a shell script that should always catch it.

because i actually had to just run rmcache ; sbreload ; uicache to have it update the cache to realize nitoTV supports 'all files' now

rmcache just runs rm /var/containers/Data/System/*/Library/Caches/com.apple.LaunchServices*.csstore

and if you are curious of the contents of that file

lsdtrip dump > lsoutput.txt will give you a text file called lsoutput.txt of a readable version of the data inside there. what opens what, etc.

@fallen blade do NOT run the reset function without reverting your snapshot & fully rebooting first or you do risk a brick, especially if OTA update is the goal

running the “reset all settings” feature is pretty much NEVER recommended on a jailbroken 4k.

Yeah, tis because auto-boot is set to false. If you had the mod or the cables, you could run noncestatistics -a and your 4K would've booted properly

Also, ppl whom plugged/unplugged just to get their 4Ks into recovery for checkra1n to kick on is just plain dumb.. It's a good way to set a recovery loop

hence me bashing it again recently haha

@desert hawk @silk rivet just a heads up, Reprovision works for me on my 13.4.5 apple tv's (hd & 4k) unc0ver. Usually signs in the background but when it doesn't I can manually do it and it always goes through. Real bonus to have. As an aside, I also use it on 2 phones, one in iOS 12 and another in 10 and it works flawlessly.

@analog elk I've revoked the certificates in the past and then just re-add it. TBH, I do not know why sometimes it signs automatically in the background and sometimes it doesn't. I have auto resigns set to every 2 days and my ATV set to sleep after 30 mins. I check Reprovision every few days and sometimes it has auto signed and sometimes not (about 60% of the time it works). When it hasn't signed automatically I just hit "sign". Without this app it would be a pain to have to sideload with Xcode all the time.

Ok, so I downgraded from tvOS 14.3 to tvOS 13.4.8 and ReProvision is working without problem. I revoked certificates and granted new ones and no error whatsoever

It seems that whatever problem there is with Reprovision is coming from tvOS14.X instead of that Jan change on Apple servers that I have seen some reference to

BTW, tried downgrading from tvOS 14.3 to tvOS 13.4 with valid blobs, SEP and Manifest and it ended with an error code 11 just when the restore bar was about to be completed. I set up nonce through nvram and I am guessing that was not the issue. Any idea on what could have been the problem??

I recently upgraded to Mojave and this is the first time I am trying to resign in Xcode. I should mention this is a free ID. I used to be able to revoke all certs from Impactor but that doesn't work now. I can log in with Reprovision on another device and revoke all certs but this one does not delete.

Question about Xcode... I am using 11.3.1 (the max official version I can install without modifications) on Mojave. I also downloaded a newer Xcode and copied from that the latest DeviceSupport folders missing from my version. However, when I am in Xcode the Target Deployment still only goes up to 13.2 and the newer iOS / tvOS platforms I copied don't show up. Do I need to change any privileges or something to get it working or is this normal? btw, my ATV devices that I sign are all on unc0ver 13.4.5.
