Also it is recommended to run rootfs before make a backup with iTunes to have no jailbreak related files.

If you want no trouble and minimize fails:

1. Run rootfs to delete all jailbreak related files.
2. Make a iTunes backup which was clean from jailbreak related files.
3. FR your device without update option.
4. Restore your backup.

You don't really need save the blobs WITH your device. You only must save blobs with the infos from your device. And you can only save blobs for a iOS version when its signed.

@real igloo @grim wren @celest basalt hi guys, for some reason I managed to overcome my challenge today. The blobs that you save using tsssaver.conan1 and shsh.host are same but the values in between are different.

I swapped the binaries in between and interchanged but had to compare with blobsaver on my Mac by reading apnonce in two states (jailbroken and unjailbroken) until I figured the difference. So after the swap of the binaries in each individual blobs I ran the futurerestore GUI Las test version and did the obvious selections from within and voila it seemed to work the magic. I am now already set up and restored backup on my new iOS 15.1. Each one of you contributed a step further to assist me and each input has led to success. Thanks ya’ll and stay cool. Thought I’d appreciate you on behalf of the community.

What's a blob?
It is a file containing a special key specifically for that one device to allow downgrading to a specific firmware.
They're like golden tickets, but instead a digital signature made by Apple that was saved at the time when the signing window was open. If you possess one (or many), keep them safe.

How do they work?
They can be used in a program called futurerestore to restore to a firmware in which the SEP/Baseband is compatible. To check SEP/Baseband compatibility, check /tag sepbb.

Make sure to not use misleading sites.

Regardless of SEP/Baseband compatibility, any/all blobs should be saved for future downgrading abilities.

Can I save them now?
Of course. Blobs can be saved at any time, but it is crucial to save them when Apple releases new firmware, because they can only be saved for versions that are currently signed.There is one exception to this: if you are jailbroken and Apple has unsigned the version you're currently on, you may save onboard blobs for that version.

I've just future restored my iPhone 12 Pro to iOS 15.1.1 with this config, the futurerestore finished successfully but my iPhone is not turning on: when I try to turn it on, the apple logo appears, is visible for about 3 minutes, and then disappears for ~3 seconds and appears again, instead of booting

My blobs are on my mac, but my backup is on my PC. That’s not an issue is it? I can’t move the backup to my Mac because I have no storage, so do I need to move the blobs to my PC and do it in Linux vm?

Thats no problem. You just need your blobs to restore that can be done with any Pc in the world

No it isnt 🙂 Im on windows so i used a virutal machine with ubuntu to futurerestore then restored the itunes backup at Windows

I miss my unc0ver also but im happy i now can use my Airtags since im on iOS 15. Only tweaks i miss is BioProtect and hiding photo albums like the WhatsApp album etc which i dont want to see
