They are device specific, and version specific, and blobs can only be saved for signed versions of iOS. 14.8 was unsigned months ago.

You can re-enable updates by uninstalling this profile in Settings -> General -> Profiles & Device Management.

If you're jailbroken, you can also install the OTADisabler tweak instead, but note that it is harder to remove while unjailbroken.

These are the steps I'm gonna do:

1. u0 > Restore RootFS
2. Backup with Finder (I'm using intel-macbook)
3. u0 > jailbreak
4. Connect iphone to mac via cable
5. I have 3 files ready: 1)blobs15.0.1.shsh2 2)iPhone13,4_15.0.1_19A348_Restore.ipsw and 3)futurerestore
6. Open Terminal and: futurerestore -t blobs15.0.1.shsh2 -d -c 15.3.1 iPhone13,4_15.0.1_19A348_Restore.ipsw --latest-sep --latest-baseband
7. Hit Enter and pray

ALL worked flawlessly. I didn't use --update tho. Took ~20-30 minutes. I'm now on 15.0.1! FaceID is working. I was able to add my card to Apple Pay (didn't test yet). Paired with Apple Watch (Series 4, watchOS 7.5) and it worked. I'm so happy! Good luck everyone and let's hope jb will come soon! 🥳

Looks fine here is what i just did with two phones which where on iOS 14.2

1.) Saved offline deb with Batchomatic in Cydia and copied it from the phone
2.) Restored rootFS
3.) Did a backup with iTunes
4.) Jailbroke with unc0ver again
5.) Used FR to restore to 15.1.1 (i used the commandline)
5.1) Had some problems using it in a Ubuntu vm with reconnecting the device in recovery mode -> run FR command as root fixxed it
6.) Restored the phone from the previous backup

I futurerestored with jb without rootfs and it worked but the problem was jb detection then I backed up to a backup without jb and it worked
