Hello, I'm trying to set up FutureRestore GUI on a Raspberry Pi, and it's giving me an error cannot execute binary file: Exec format error when I try to execute the .sh script in Linux-universal. Any ideas?

If you have irecovery installed on your system you can run irecovery -n in a terminal with your phone connected.

Otherwise, download FutureRestore GUI and use the exit recovery button.

If you're jailbroken, you can also install the OTADisabler tweak instead, but note that it is harder to remove while unjailbroken.

only faced one problem where macOS couldn't put my phone into recovery mode and i just used some third party program on windows to put me into recovery mode and i initiated futurerestore while in recovery mode

I came to get help with a failed futurerestore that left me stuck in recovery mode. @grand dome Your commands fixed my problem and let me finish updating to 15.1.1, so thanks very much!

Apple Watch Series 4, watchOS 7.3.3.

I would like to future restore my friend device to iOS 15.1 using iOS 15.3.1 sep and baseband so that FaceID can continue working after the process is completed. Along with the preserve data option enabled. I have a macOS Big Sur and Linux (ubuntu) VM. I’ll be using the mac VM.

Precaution:
Delete tweaks plist files.
Restore rootFS will be perform then a backup via iTunes/Finder will be made.

Questions:
Should I used the gui or terminal?

If everything goes well. Will the Apple Watch still be paired to the iPhone?

If everything goes well with the Apple Watch still being paired to the iPhone. Will it be possible to update the Apple Watch to a watchOS that is compatible with iOS 15.1?

apple watch wise afaik 7.3.3 isn't compatible with 15.1

you'll need to update it to 8.5 before you jailbreak with legizmo beta (native method) and then keep data whilst futurerestoring

(i'm in the same situation and my phone is updating as we speak with watch on 8.5)

i'd also use terminal as afaik gui doesn't support -c option

Run md5 on the file quickly
