1. I created a folder 'futurerestore' on the desktop (Macbook Pro Mid 2012/latest Monterey 12.3).
2. Downloaded 15.1.1 blob [viewed it in text editor, the nonce generator was set (Taurine jb)], put that in the folder.
3. At the time/12am EST: I had the FutureRestore GUI v1.96 installed, but I downloaded the nightly v270 build, put that in the folder.
4. I got the 15.3.1 SEP+BB by sepfinderbot. Put those files in the folder.
5. Download 15.1.1 ipsw, put that in the folder.
6. On iPhone, open NewTerm 2 and run 'dimentio' command to set nonce generator that matched my blob.
   ''su root -c "dimentio [your nonce generator]''
7. On Macbook Pro, right click on 'futurerestore' folder to open terminal.
8. Run the command in the Macbook Pro terminal that @lavish rain & @short spade provided:
   ''./futurerestore -t yourblob.shsh2 -c 15.3.1 --latest-sep --latest-baseband -d yourphone.ipsw''
9. The rest was history, because most of these steps got outdated within couple of hours.

Think it comes down to how long you will be having your device. If you’re not upgrading to the 14 this year, go for it and try to get on 15. If you’re going to get the 14, probably better to stay where you are since it might be a bit until we get a jailbreak on iOS 15

With this option your data was not deleted. But it is not recommand to use it. Some people have use it and it works, other use it and it don't works. Also the restore with --update takes a very long time.
