do i just change the generator in the blob?
No you can't change the blobs. You must save the blob with the actual nonce your device have.
just fetch a new blob for 15.3.1 with the new nonce yes
Trying to use ipwndfu to get my iPad Mini 4 into Pwned DFU mode but whenever I run the command
sudo python2 ./ipwndfu -p --rmsigchecks or even just -p argument it immediately boots
Any ideas/suggestions?
@ancient meadow were you able to start a futurerestore
what do i do with it?
rip manually specifying
futurerestore to 15.3.1 with the -c option
unfortunately yes
rip
Can someone guide me with the SEP files to update my iphone x, and let me know if these are the files i need?
do i just use sep finder?
but the option we're testing should prevent this from ever happening again
I'm surprised this setting wasn't added yet already until today
@pulsar ibex you don't need to do such a thing
so can i use FR gui for this? im looking to fr from 14.7.1 to 15.1 on my ip11 and i have blobs and stuff
I've also tried eclipsa but it just straight up doesn't seem to do anything after
Found the USB device.
well at least i can update my watch now lol
I dont need them?
Should i use the “latest SEP” option?
Thanks, ill try and see if i can do it
i assume i just plug the phone in and start from here right? i really dont wanna mess it up
use -c instead
there is no windows version please stop using that @simple cosmos
is that linux only? i do have a linux drive but i didnt think the issue couldaffect me cause im on a13. and alr yeah il just probs stop using that and boot up linux lol
oh LOL
okay i have a restore going
@solar dove
ios 15
After doing a futurerestore am I able to do a restore from backup from my mac?
idk, i just read stuff and im dumb lol. but is the apticket the blob or do i look for it in the blob? am i also able to do preserve data or is that too risky for a full version upgrade
the apticket is the blob
apticket is the blob...
oh lol
@solar dove a12x success now just need a13 and a14 confirmation (a15 is already confirmed with 15.3.1)
Did the gui get updated?
well i guess il just not enable it then. going to do it now.
@simple cosmos show command before you run
alr
Nice to see that the -c command work. Hopefully someone with a14 test it too.
./futurerestore --apticket 15.1-blob.shsh2 --debug -c 15.3.1 iPhone11,8,iPhone12,1_15.1_19B74_Restore.ipsw --latest-sep --latest-baseband --update
On a14?
yes
With v270?
yes had to use -c command
Ok. Have you use --update?
yes
Thats probably why
On reddit some people have said thes must wait very long ifthey have use --update.
Is —update mandatory?
okay so i will wait
Do you need to get rid of the otadisabler and use ota enabler if you use fr?
No.
did the restore complete
I've heard it take 3 hours on a 256gb device
yeah
@west swift send log
where can i find it?
mac or linux
Terminal.
linux
ctrl + s
Tf
okay the iphone is now on a white screen and its tring to restore data
Haha
and now its black
It worked
yeah now i just have to wait
Passwort for you linux user?
So a14 confirm
@solar dove I think —update actually works people just hard reset before it finished booting…
no on the iphone
so patience is key?
Ah ok for finished the update. I tought you mean for the log.
Yes I think so. You have seen the proccess is going on and the phone works and don't hang on.
i will give an update when its finished
I never --update regardless
Same
So —update can keep all ur data?
so i just waited like 10 - 30 mins and its still on it
If it works, yes. But I would only make a clean FR restore.
oh lol
Hopefully it does
Won’t you lose everything then?
Yes but I manually save my files etc. I don't want any old jailbreak files on a new system.
its at about 50%
So it moves forward?
yeah it has a progressbar under the logo
Nice.
So for iPhone 12 Pro Max I should use ./futurerestore --apticket <path to apticket> --debug -c [version that you want the SEP and baseband to be taken from] <path to [firmware you want to update to] ipsw> --latest-sep --latest-baseband
Yes.
I always did ./futurerestire --apticket <path to blob>.shsh2 --latest-sep --latest-baseband -d -c 15.3.1 <path to IPSW>.ipsw
well minus the -c 15.3.1 since that's new
But ye that should work
AFAIK the order doesn't matter.
hello everyone, im on 15.2 A15 can i go back 15.1 with shsh2 ?
No
unless you can somehow set the generator, no
And doesn't matter if you use the short commands like -t or the long --apticket.
mhm
i can try :/
The command that I wish worked for me is
./futurerestore -t ~/Desktop/14.2.shsh --latest-sep --latest-baseband --use-pwndfu --skip-blob -d ~/Desktop/14.2.ipsw
A14 Confirmed with --update
Wooo
Good news!
how can i set the generator :/
nice!
if it isn't set already you can't
thats mean my A15 is rubbish now :/
Not rubbish, but unjailbroken for maybe a long time.
how could i set that while unjailbroken
long long time
well i cant exit recovery mode after future restore put it into it, but im doing this in a vm so maybe that might be why? idk. im dumb.
that being said i dont really know how to exit revoery mode but holding the power just reboots to recovery mode lol
You can't.
thats why i said that my A15 is rubbish :/
.
But what have you tried? Why is FR failed?
?
thats why i said that my A15 is rubbish :/
Yeah I have read this, but what should I say?
Shit happens lost my 14.3 JB trying to get to 15.1.1 oh well till next time lol
me..? so im fucked now? lol
Lol yup been doing this since iOS 3 days you win some lose some
what os are you using?
DEBUG: Waiting for device to disconnect...

lol
that's not broken
just exit recovery
it did go into recovery mode though
i held the power button and it just goes back to recovery so im probs just dumb
Try ./futurerestore -e used that when my phone was in recovery mode and it wouldn’t boot up
the weird thing is it says it cant even find the device???
It shows as one when you see the help
Wack, I only know of --exit-recovery
-e is the short command and --exit-recovery the long. Thats is what the FR help said.
Yup
so i just enter DFU and then do that command?
Try --exit-recovery
Do you have irecovery
if it fails enter DFU and restore in iTunes
It's probably failing to set auto-boot to true again
Wait, what have you do to try that FR is failed?
@simple cosmos did the futurerestore process actually start or
no
i dont think so lol
this is how far i got
Was there ever an apple logo or progress bar on the screen
im doing this in a VM so maybe it just didnt detect it when it rebooted into recovery mode
i dont lol
If you want to do it in a vm you have to do some weird funky shit by passing through the entire usb controller rather than just a port
i did that and it says its legit not detecting the phone lmao
yes this is probably the reason
Do you have brew
when it reconnects, the USB device isn’t being inittisyed in the VM
Probably a better idea
initiated
yeah
@ me when you've spun it up
kk
Prob missing all the dependencies like I was took forever to install them lol
I think it have to do withusb passthrough and the vm doesn't recognized the phone.
Are there no windows tools to exit recovery? Maybe use the old FR windows version for exit recovery.
old futurerestore for windows can still use --exit-recovery iirc
Or boot ununtu live and use the latest FR to exit. Then you can also use ubuntu to FR.
True
Yeah I think so. The changes in FR doesn't affect this command.
well i exited recovery mode with windows so im not messed up yet
yeah lmao
Ok then use ununtu live and FR with it.
yeah i need to download the iso
You can boot it from a USB drive.
i am aware
Ok nice.
mac/linux
Futurerestore
Requirements
- A11 and below (iPhone X/8 and older)
- iOS 14 Blobs
(If you’ve been on a previous jailbreak with procursus you may have blobs for iOS 14, please check TSS Saver) - Mac / Linux Machine
Note
- If you downgrade you will lose Face ID
- You can regain Face ID if you upgrade to a version that doesn’t break Face ID, please see

Minus 14
@valid adder @celest basalt just futurerestored my iPhone X to 15.1 just fine; I'll do my 12 Pro once I get my iPhone X set back up
hoping my nonce is still the same 🙏
awesome!!
pls let me know how your 12 pro goes
its the same logic
Restores in general
(also about sandbox
)
Same logic just switch it around to accomodate for what you're trying to do
@shy magnet where my blobs
sad
What device do you have again
15.1 isn't listed there but I have it on 1conan
sign into alt ez
i cant
What device
did it get banned
13 pm
yes
Nevermind then

Just get the user id of your alt
ah fuck it
You can list then

938086727292190742

I think you have to share at least one server with it for it to work
The bot that is

Pog
Pog
iPhone 12 pro with 14.1 here. Have blobs for 15.0.2. Tried FS on an old mac. Selected blobs and firmware, manual baseband, SEP and buildmanifest from 15.3.1 (Telegram bot) then upgrade. It took maybe 20min and then failed. "This device isn't eligible for the requested build". Now I can't exit Recovery mode. Tried again but I get the error "Device ApNonce does not match APTicket nonce".
you used the wrong version of fr
selected beta in the setting and then download FS
./futurerestore --apticket blob.shsh2 -debug -c 15.3.1 15.1-restore.ispw --latest-sep --latest-baseband
right
Uh
do you not need to specify nonce?
🤷
well thats what cs put in announcements
Yeah that command is gold
alr
do you have to type 15.3.1 after -c
I think I did everything right BUT I'm not sure if I set the generator right. I migh have forgot to add the "0x" to the "0x111111111111"
idk thats the command i did lol

my generator is already set so im good i think?
idk i just save with auto tss or whatever bot we have here lol
it starts with 0x5c but im on a13/ip11 so i dont know if i should like go back and do something else cause im on 14.7.1 rn
I'll get them from your blob one sec
0x5c and any other random generator is normal for A12+
If you got a generator/apnonce combo while unjailbroken
so it should be fine right
i can JB if i want to now to set it to 111111 or whatever though
but yeah, i got that from blobsaver when i did it manually
anyways it dosent want to go back into recovery mode lol
what=can't set auto-boot, when device isn't in recovery mode
Are you using --exit-recovery or some shit
not on the command no
but i had to use it to get out of recovery mode the first time

dm me the val
@simple cosmos you need the usbmuxd daemon on linux
Pair your device to your computer

Reset network settings and unplug and replug your device
ok, in recovery mode
libimobiledevice-utils
@grim wren it did the same thing where it failed to pick it up once it was in recovery mode
wtf
You on Linux?
my ecid is ⠀
mfw no device found
oh
82746724727557
dumbass
jk
BRB deriving your udid/uuid/whatever it was you could derive from ecid

go derive some bitches
how do i check if its even being picked up by linux
lsusb | grep "Apple"
Bus 001 Device 017: ID 05ac:1281 Apple, Inc. Apple Mobile Device [Recovery Mode]
wow well
@shy magnet did u get it
is future restore broken or something LMAO
dm
how do you install it on linux
Did you install libusbmuxd
you dont??? you just download the thing
the binary
bruh
no
gg
Do you have synaptic package manager
idk why but the devices weren't under that user id
i have apt LOL
why is my ecid different from the one i sent u
bc it was in decimal format
autotss stores them in hexadecimal format
nerd
Hello again, mind if i share my log?
, i got nearly everything, but at the end my phone got stuck in recovery( i could exit yeahh) and got the mesage “restoring failed”
Z a m n nice blobs
how
sudo apt install synaptic
i dont have access to that command
What how
@valid adder where latest fr
Have you heard of
hehe
done
how download and unzip
libusbmuxd, libirecovery3, libplist
What
Just click the release download link
cant find libirecovery3
but i have libplist3 and libusbmuxd6 installed
nope
What about just
i dont know if i have libirecovery3 installed because its not even showing up in synaptic
there is common, dev, and 1.0-3
lol
im assuming the 1.0-3
ok well i marked it, now what?
yeah
After marking them hit install
Try it now
unplug your device, sudo systemctl restart usbmuxd, plug device back in, try again
If it doesn't
ok i got fr ready
Pog
what the command to go to 15.1.1
./(futurerestore) -t (blob) -c 15.3.1 --latest-sep --latest-baseband (ipsw)
-c makes it not bootloop
bruh i need to download ipsw???
yes??
Wym
15.1.1 yes Ofc you need to download that
what
15.3.1 it just gets components
What device are you using again
i need to type this paragraph in the command line?
7345743334113310_iPhone14,3_d64ap_15.1.1-19B81_ee4b81d39989966618c33acc24e58c7496c97e31447b50ed8b7a39e41a02bc55.shsh2
can i just rename it to blob.shsh2
If you want
iphone 11

what=ERROR: Firmware file 15.1-restore.ispw does not exist.
bruh LS says its right there
iPhone 11 series didn't get 15.1.1
No wonder you don't have 15.1.1 blobs lol
lmao
^
anyways
would that be a space in the folder name issue or
cause the file is there
What's the name of your ipsw currently
And show me the command you're using
./futurerestore --apticket blob.shsh2 --debug -c 15.3.1 15.1-restore.ispw --latest-sep --latest-baseband
Hey guys, i'm trying to set the nonce of my iphone x on 14.8 with checkm8 nonce setter but my hackintosh spits out '"igetnonce" is damaged and can't be opened. You should move it to the Trash.' How do i get around this?
uhhh
dont you have to specify the blob path
15.1-restore.ipsw
and ipsw
the path
lol
its in the same folder???
it should be fine
does it really need a exact path
lol
how do i change it to update instead of restore
./futurerestore?
yes
You don't want to update
You might bootloop
Make a device backup and restore it over later
i didnt bootloop the last time i updated
--update seems to just, decide whether it does or doesn't want to it would seem
I wouldn't risk it
anyways
Ipsw last
oooh
Doubt it'll make a difference but
Put it last
It's designed to be the last argument so it might tbh
./futurerestore --apticket blob.shsh2 --debug -c 15.3.1 --latest-sep --latest-baseband 15.1-restore.ispw
thats kinda different from the command he said earlier
where would it be
idk he said this was fine
./(futurerestore) -t (blob) -c 15.3.1 --latest-sep --latest-baseband (ipsw) @grim wren ?
my ipsw is almost finishing the download
what=ERROR: Firmware file 15.1-restore.ispw does not exist.

IM NOT EVEN IN RECOVERY
ah
i didnt know it had to be unlocked

OK ITS RESTORING AGAIn

LETSS GOOO
does this mean my blobs are useless? lol
which step is that
i think my apnonce is wrong too
iPhone 11 right?
yes
Are you jailbroken?
lol you dont
NOOOO
its extracting ipsw lol
oh
Control C
how do i take screeenshot on linux
yeah if the apple logo is there and the bar is there then its restoring
i was, not now though
@simple cosmos are you able to?
What
If you see an apple logo it's good
WE GOOD
yes
i am able too
i am on 14.7.1
Send me the blob you're trying to use rn
ok
I'll get your generator if you don't know it
Poggg
Wait so @elder palm
yes
Did you freeze your nonce with blobsaver, save blobs for 15.1 later on, then restore
Were you even able to jb?
i also checked for updates for dallas
Checking for updates usually resets nonce
Yes.
Sure did
so you can set ur nonce mf
1 to 2 trillion or something
Your error tells me you either did set it but you got reset, or you didn't
LMFAO DAHDUAWHD
@simple cosmos 11 pro 15.1 right?
my restore is almost done
Good luck
ty!!
You're in the end game
GG
YO
i am on 14.7.1, iphone 11
right now
iphone 13 pro max 15.0.1 to 15.1.1
ISNT THAT LIKE A 1 IN 1 TRILLION CHANCE
Well, going to 15.1 I meant
yes
how not
I mean it's possible, but the chances are just terrifying
@vivid nova come back
if checking for updates unfreezes the nonce then there's no way it was frozen
I remember checking for updates a week ago

yes
how do you freeze the nonce
lmao
Occam's razor; it was def frozen
i used it 2 hours ago to check my ecid
he thought he was god for a sec
yes i am going to 15.1
Currently going from 14.3 to 15.1.1 on my iPhone 12 PM guys
@simple cosmos what version is this blob for
it's about to finish
15.1 RC
lol
Oh that would be why verification is failing
I was using 15.1 release
my knowledge was that checking for it doesnt unfreeze it

at least we can use ur device to test the theory
Only one way to find out
thanks, freezing my nonce
idk what happened to just normal 15.1
15.1 RC
futurerestore says restoring succeeded. Looks like this new build worked
same thing according to m1sta
is there a ipsw that i have to download thats not 15.1? because i just downloaded it from ipsw.me
I have been reading about the new update and I am assuming if I go from 14.2 to 15.1 using 15.3 sep, FaceID won't break on my A13 device, correct?
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
no way you just got the right nonce
unless it doesnt reset if frozen
@simple cosmos I was using 11 pro ipsw
context doesnt really say
No wonder it wasn't verifying
LMAO
yeah i have just a normal 11
@zealous bridge should i buy lottery tickets
ok turned on the computer brb
Number used ONCE Except If It's Frozen
can i go from 14.2 to 15.1 without breaking faceid on A13?
NONCEEFIF
I forgot the 11 has its own ipsw unlike the 11p(m)
I can confirm A14 restore worked
yes if you do it correctly
@simple cosmos 0x5c48740e788fabd3
by using the latest instructions and 15.3,1 sep right?
Paste that into your jailbreak app then hit jb button
I think checking for updates wont change your nonce if it's frozen @storm apex
ok
yes
make sure you use -c
great thanks
@storm apex apnonce 2aZbSr+ETEathNbDNEAgxctNYIaTgJMw4mTmrz2fi4s=
bootnonce sy4ZdkMn/j4=
hold on i need to resign u0 LOL
Oop
rebooting into windows
That apnonce is encrypted
Woe
he said that he would unencrypt for me
I think it's base64 hex encoded
Anyone know why this occurs? Thanks.
heheheha
amogus
its prolly not even decoded right
ok im back in windows lol
it converts back so im clearly at least decoding it right
ok
the parser is broken on Linux
am i able to downgrade from 15.2 to 15.0.2 on iphone 7? or no since i cant set nonce
If you have blobs, you can downgrade
then you can
if I do ideviceinfo without doing the -k ApNonce thing is the nonce unfrozen again
7 has checkm8 you can set nonce with
./futurerestore -t yourblob.shsh2 -c 15.3.1 --latest-sep --latest-baseband yourphone.ipsw this is the command right
To?
futurerestore to 15.1.1
should be
epic
how?
check pins
because I forgot my ecid and had to do ideviceinfo lmao
there's a guide
ty
that FR command looks so short lol
mine are monsters
noooo
~/Desktop/futurerestore -t ~/Desktop/14.2.shsh --latest-sep --latest-baseband --use-pwndfu --skip-blob -d ~/Desktop/14.2.ipsw
I can't add 2 devices with the same ecid to autotss

so -d goes right before the ipsw?

yeah
it'll give you a bunch more info in case something fails
apnonce: d9a65b4abf844c46ad84d6c3344020c5cb4d608693809330e264e6af3d9f8b8b
generator: 3efe274376192eb3

I have ECID

it sure feels great being one of the first few people to FR on A15

ok well u0 says generator is whatever now

i wish i was prepared to be 1 hour away from my phone
I only saw the message not the quote
fuck restores
Any tricks to passing through USB to VirtualBox MacOS VM?
I can’t get it to detect my phone
just do a linux live usb
lol
i would recommend vmware instead
i dont think virtualbox can pass through usb from mac
Well shit
or a live linux usb if you're trying to futurerestore
Which one you recommend?
I think making a live linux usb would be the easiest option
setting up a new vm is too much work
I used ubuntu for mine
anyways time to reboot again
why are you rebooting
just start fr
and make sure to make a device backup
because using --update will probably bootloop
we do a little useless python script that ill probably never use
oh your pc not your phone
yeah
Where on the USB drive should one dump all the files?
elaborate
LMAO
oh and the file name wasnt the same
oh well
doing this for the 10000th time
RESTORING
sending filesystem
no going back now
Hopefully it goes well
Done: restoring succeeded!
phone is still doing a loading bar though rn, idk why but il just let it go lol
seems the restore is done though
annnnd its booted
That's the second half of the restore
Computer basically just goes "over to you, device" at the end
But yeah
Nice
what device did yall do
Crafty did ip11
nice
thank you @grim wren
Np
i didn’t think it was gonna work
Have someone encountered the error “restoring failed”
i thought my apnonce was wrong
Little bit vague
Show the full error
same
Now I have some confidence in updating my 12 Pro Max 14.1.
do it
trust me
worth it
i got good wifi and still took hella long
loading the apps after the restore was hell
lol
im like 15% done
i dont have much on my phone so
if you have the necessary hardware i would say its probably better to do it
hopefully we wont see any sudden roadblocks on 15.1.1-
Got everything. I just have to relax and make no typos.
14.7.1 -> 15.1 a13 iPhone 11 finished!
Sorry, wrong image
./futurerestore -t yourblob.shsh2 -c 15.3.1 --latest-sep --latest-baseband -d yourphone.ipsw
heres the command
Can the Livecd access Windows file system?
yes
oh my god, i just found out i somehow have blobs for 15.1 and didnt even know. how can i check if my blob is valid?
A tool to save your SHSH2 blobs online without using the CLI.
should check them to see if they are valid
alrighty
WOOHOO
omg, i was so disappointed because i couldnt do dallas
now i have a chance of being on 15.1
Go while you can
M1 mac?
Intel
i definitely will!!!!
ill probably do it tomorow, im going to bed soon
Well, not m1 or any new, intel core 2 duo
15.3.1 could be unsigned at any moment, or in the coming days
Personally I wouldn't put it off
true true, alright ill just do it rn then
Try rm -rf /tmp/futurerestore
Unplug and replug your device
Exit recovery and put it back into recovery mode
And try again
Ask questions if you need help
Can you save blobs with Linux or do you gotta use a VM
alrighty thanks! i definitely will need a bit of help, never done futurerestore before
VM's have never been a requirement
You can save blobs on Linux, windows, or macOS
I’m confused since on my Linux currently iTunes doesn’t work so I don’t know how to save blobs without it.
I use pop os and I tried Ubuntu
Blobsaver
Thank you
Now that I have the livecd up, are their any dependencies that need to be installed?
Has anyone gone from 14.8 uncover to 15.1 with futurerestore? I wanna know that uncover could successfully set nonce to 0x1111111 in iOS 14.8 before trying to update my phobe
You won't get very far if it doesn't so
man i wonder how i managed to have blobs saved for 15.1. i was just curious and checked tss saver to see what blobs i had saved and lo and behold there was 15.1
i swear i dont remember saving them, could it have been some tweak? like system info? ive used that to save blobs for 14.4 before
anyways time to boot into linux, downloaded 15.1 ipsw now
ohhh i see thats awesome
just need to make sure you use v270 with -c 15.3.1
alright
Anyone have an issue with futurerestore not detecting the device in recovery mode in Ubuntu?
why do you need to get out of recovery theres nothing you need to restart
recovery is part of the restore...
I re-ran the command, but I still get "can't init, no device found"
I installed usbmuxd
sudo apt install udev
Same shit.

I got myself out of recovery on Windows
Cryptic, Does using your nightly FR build erase data?
Same issue, futurerestore doesn't see the device in recovery mode.
Ubuntu detected the device beforehand and asked me to even Trust
Figured that out, now have a new error, fuck me.
Extracting filesystem from iPSW

Redownload the IPSW
delete this folder ~/Downloads/iPhone13,4_15.1.1_19B81_Restore @gentle cradle
you need 10gb space or more on root drive
So..what’s next for those who tried Future-restored, recovery-looped, and was forced to update?
just exit recovery and post the full log including command
If you don't use --update then yes
Don't use --update btw
It'll probably bootloop you
