I've tried FR on Ubuntu 20.04 (Live USB), FR recognizes my iPhone in normal mode but not in recovery / DFU mode!

Using GUI & CLI.

Are there any additional packages I need to install?

You’ll need to specify your nonce once 15.4 comes out.

After the restore rootfs, you should make a complete backup.

• you don’t have to but during the future restore process, you can choose to keep content or erase everything to start clean. It’s suggested you erase everything (during the process)

These are the steps I followed.

Download FutureRestore GUI, open settings and turn on "FutureRestore Beta," then
Download FR
Select your blob
Select 15.1.1 iPSW
Click next.

From the options given in the next tab

Keep debug on, I recommend you keep off preserve data and everything else off as well, so make a backup before the restore
Latest Baseband and SEP (if you do it around now, when 15.4 is released you'll need to specify)

Last thing, press start

Do not erase all content, I believe doing this will reset your apnonce. And your blobs will be useless.

Restore rootfs by yourself. But do no restore the whole phone by yourself.

I made a backup after I restore rootfs. I did this because coocoofroggy suggested that I do not enable “preserve data” inside of FutureRestoreGUI.

So after FRGUI restores the phone and updated to 15.1/15.1.1, I installed everything I had from the backup 🙂

hello im having a similar issue with restore root fs i have done it but the jailbreak is still there and i do have a backup but it was backed up whilst jailbroken

and im attempting to unjailbreak

also with the restore root fs it rebooted after it completed 28/32 and not the full 32% not sure if that is an issue or not

Download the 15.1.1 ipsw - https://ipsw.me/download/iPhone13,3/19B81
Go to Settings in FR GUI and check "FutureRestore Beta"
Go to Files and click "Download FutureRestore"
Add your blob file
Add the ipsw file
Click next
Check the args you want (i only checked "Extra logs" and "Preserve Data")
Select the latest baseband and SEP
Click next
Start FutureRestore
Pray to the god of your choice```

Hello, I have an iPhone X (Global) running ios 14.3. I am attempting to FR to 15.1 while the SEP for 15.3.1 is still working. When running the tool with the latest SEP and BB setting, I get the message: "SEP firmware is NOT being signed!". I am attempting to manually specify SEP and BB in the FR GUI, but I can't figure out which SEP and BB files I am actually supposed to extract from the 15.3.1 IPSW. I have already tried using the telegram bot but it just tells me there is no SEP or BB file in 15.3.1. Any help would be appreciated.
