apple does firmwares via tickets and uses nonce(number use once) to prevent replay

apple implemented set nonce for ota restores

so we just use that same feature to set nonce

then we can replay our saved ticket

Okay, to give a little context on this error: I think it was a firmware issue. I went from 15.0 beta 5 to 14.7.1 without restoring and I guess that messed up more than I realised. After I DFU restored, futurerestore worked first try.

download dimentio and newterm 2, in newterm 2 type:
sudo dimentio *generator-number*, to get your generator number, open the blob and search for "generator", then note it down and use it with the command i gave u

downgrading while keeping data using futurerestore is usually not a good idea, but to answer your questions:
if you were on 14.5, jben, had 15.3 blobs, and the sep and baseband is compatible, youd be able to go back and forth, and while you can keep data, keeping jben data is usually a bad idea so it would be better for you to restore rootfs first

however upgrading while keeping data is a good idea as long as u restore rootfs

if you downgrade while keeping data nothing fatal is probably gonna happen execpt if its something like 14.5 or above to 14.4.2 or below

I'm trying to update from 14.1 to 14.2 on A12. My 14.2 blob doesn't have "Generator" but my newer blob has. I've tried setting nonce by Newterm 2 with generator value of newer blob, which is the default generator of Taurine (0xbd34a880be0b53f3) but I'm getting "Device ApNonce does not match APTicket nonce". Is there anything I can do and is there any problem with my 14.2 blob?

I've verified my blob on 1conan and verify.shsh. It said my blob was valid.
