some people say DFU is only necessary when you can't even get into recovery, it seems like even if a recovery restore completes successfully, sometimes only DFU can unfuck certain things

like when checkm8-nonce-setter acts up and doesn't want to enter recovery mode after pwndfu

and if I try manually futurerestore hangs at FDR and keeps timing out

strangely idevicerestore (to 14.4.2) works fine even in recovery, but doesn't fix the issue
