13.5 jailbroken with unc0ver 6.1.0, if that makes any difference.

I might try to restore rootFS again and then jailbreak with checkra1n, set nonce and try again.

Hey y’all. Tried FR yesterday in a rush, but ran into some issues on my personal windows 10 machine (#futurerestore-help message), mainly the ibec thing and then error -10 where it fails to put your device in / out of recovery. Tried all the fixes suggested, had no luck making it work. That machine is cursed anyways.

Have a few more windows and Linux machines. Tracked down another windows 10 machine that has never seen iTunes / any apple drivers.

Do I install regular iTunes (from the Apple website not from windows store), or do I install the version linked in the tweet from pinned messages?

Likewise, if I’m on Linux, do I install any drivers or anything first? Appreciate any help / input!

So the linux version doesnt seem to pick up my device. Exiting with the "cant find device" error very early one. Device was definitely in recovery mode. Tried different USB ports (3.0, 3.1, 2.0), all from the IO Shield / back of the motherboard, so no hubs etc.

Worth to note that this was live ubuntu 20.04 LTS, not an actually installed OS. I guess theres the possibility of it not having full USB drivers?
