I managed to create a script and "static" build for Linux.. "static" in quotation marks because not really haha

• By "static" I mean only libzip, libimobiledevice libs (libplist, libusbmuxd, libimobiledevice), and tihmstar libs (libgeneral, libfragmentzip, img4tool)
• By linking those dependencies statically, futurerestore actually now opens on Ubuntu and Fedora live USB out of the box
• I haven't tested this yet for actual restoring so I won't be uploading any binary, and there might also be updates coming up for futurerestore itself

You can use -u to update/downgrade your phone without losing data (but if you were jailbroken before, it will keep old files) or you can not include -u and it will erase your phone and upgrade/downgrade to whatever version

Go into device manager, under USB devices, there should be something about apple device recovery. Uninstall that and make sure the box to delete is ticked when you do so. Then unplug and replug your iPhone and after the recovery driver reinstalls try the command again
