Additional issues with the Windows build:

libirecovery has issues on Windows and sometimes fails to send the iBEC to the device, this has been an issue on older Windows builds too, follow these steps (sometimes you also need to fully reinstall iTunes / Apple Mobile Device Support to get it to work, not sure why) and hope it starts to work if you're affected, this has something to do with newer versions of the apple device driver changing something that irecovery has not adapted or something (GitHub issue)
