Can I save them now?
Of course. To restore in Recovery Mode

• Connect your device to your PC/Mac and open iTunes/Finder
• A prompt should appear which says “A device has been connected in recovery mode.” Either select “Restore” or “Update”

NOTE: If you use this method you can only restore/updated to a signed version of iOS.

I need help jailbreaking iphone8 with checkra1n, here are the detail: iphone 8 on ios 14.5.1 , I am having trouble jailbreaking with checkra1n (0.12.4 beta) using macbook pro on macOS 10.15.7. I have abled 'allow untested ios' and 'skip a11 bpr check' in options. I followed the instructions perfectly, but iphone restarts after 'release side button' step.

I also tried jailbreaking with unc0ver, pretty sure it doesn't support my iphone.

You could still jailbreak but you wouldn't be able to set a passcode or use biometric features. Open the checkra1n app on your home screen and tap "Restore System". If the icon has disappeared or you get "Restore Error: General", reboot and re-jailbreak.
