I disagree unless we're talking about the every day person who only needs to browse the internet. For power users, who travel for work. ideally a laptop that can support at least 2 4K monitors while at home, with capability to plug into an eGPU with full native support of it, and be able to handle a gazillion spreadsheets and other things open at the same time.... and the ability to disconnect it all on the fly and take it with you in your bag that doesn't weigh you down, but offers comparitive power and processing on the road........ you need an x86 based processor. i7, i9, Xeon..... Dell's Precision class is a good example of this. Try running 2 4k monitors even with an AMD supported eGPU performing video calls and spreadsheet updates on a current macbook pro. Can't keep up.

No.. no drivers for windows. Make a bootable linux live usb of your distro of choice & download checkra1n after you get to the linux desktop.. or use the tool you just replied to called odysseyn1x

In that case, whatever way you were just running checkra1n GUI or tui, built into the checkra1n executable there’s also a CLI mode called by the option -c. -V gives you verbose output in the terminal itself & -v gives you verbose boot on the device. So if you can access a prompt to enter commands on whatever linux you were using earlier to access the checkra1n tui, just type ./checkra1n -cVv put the device in dfu mode & it will do everything else automatically, with a much more detailed output for diagnostic ability enhancement

I am having this exact issue but on. iPhone X IOS 14.5. I have jailbroken before on this exact iOS version and phone but it seems Checkra1n will freeze no matter which way I can get checkra1n this includes Linux mint, CLI but the touchscreen is unresponsive when it jailbreaks even in safemode, Checkninx, jailm8. This happens after I select “Skip A11” and it's exclusive to this toggle as I have tried every other toggle and it won't freeze unless skip a11 is checked. I have tried different cables genuine and cheap, different ports, different pcs. (I have ssh access and have already tried deleting tweaks I believed to be causing it and N/A even in safemode) Can someone help me figure out how to jailbreak? Ping on reply

I just tried cli and it works and jailbreaks but once it boots no screen interaction does anything can't swipe or or anything but I can use side buttons

Tried safemode with the cli it boots into safe mode but Istill can't touch my screen
