I installed Ubuntu xfce as well as checkra1n and usbmuxd. Also libimobiledevice (which I think is part of the crouton package anyways.)
Checkrain doesn’t let me [start] the process. I think it doesn’t know my phone is connected?

Good afternoon. I have a problem with my Jailbreak checkra1n on my Iphone 6S +, iOS 13.6, the checkra1n icon disappeared. I clarify that I do not have a Mac, I always did it with Windows.
Cydia and filza close when trying to open them, and there is no way to jailbreak again, try many ways and versions. I can't uninstall it either, as the checkra1n icon doesn't appear.
Nor by re-establishing the mobile. I can not find the solution, if someone can pass me some information, I will appreciate it.
I've run out of battery many times and was able to redo the jailbreak many times, it had been working perfectly like this for months, but one day the chekra1n icon disappeared and I no longer had a go back. I think the problem is that you can't do checkra1n because it already has it in place, I just can't use or remove it.
I'm going crazy, I can't delete it without the checkra1n icon.
I don't know if checkra1n is installed or not, the process runs and ends normally, but the icon does not appear. Filza and cydia icons, they were there, but they don't work, I can't uninstall them like that either.

Quick question. I got a new MacBook and I went to rejailbreak using checkra1n but I cant get past the entering DFU sequence where you hold and release buttons. I don’t have access to my old MacBook till tomorrow so I can’t try any other way. Any idea about what I am missing? Thank you all

ok so I've narrowed down the issues that are happening. I'm on iPad Air 2, IOS 14.6. The errors that I'm getting like USBMUX Error -79 and all those are not a software problem. PongoOS is not booting. Jailbreaking my old iPhone 6 works perfectly. whenever I do jailbreak on that iPad all it does it restart and boot, no code written on the screen, no PongoOS. Does anyone have any fixes?

Having used both checkra1n and odysseyra1n, I can safely recommend odysseyra1n over checkra1n
I did have to use the script because Betelguese wasn't working but Sileo is just so nice
