To reiterate, semi-jailbreaks are only supported on versions that have a CoreTrust bypass, and that do not have a "full" jailbreak. This means compatibility is limited to 16.5.1 - 16.6.1, 16.7 RC (20H18), and 17.0.

If you install a broken tweak and can no longer jailbreak your phone (for example, it hangs on a black screen when you press jailbreak):

1. Force reboot back into an unjailbroken state (iPhone force reboot | iPad force reboot)
2. Open nathanlr
3. Hold down on the Volume Up button (keep it held)
4. Press Jailbreak (while still holding Volume Up)

When the phone fully reboots you should be in Safe Mode, you can release the volume up button, tap Dismiss on the Safe Mode popup, and freely remove any broken tweaks

(fyi -- this has been a feature ever since the very early jailbreaks that used Cydia Substrate, and it's been ported to modern tweak injection libraries like Ellekit. This trick isn't exclusive to nathanlr, but other jailbreaks like Dopamine have a switch to engage Safe Mode from the settings, and nathanlr doesn't yet have a switch like that you can use before jailbreaking)

What does this mean for the average user?
Tweaks would need to be updated to support iOS 15, check if the tweak you’re installing works on 15. Not all tweaks will work out of the box for iOS 15.

I haven’t had any issue with chime or any of my crypto apps. Hopefully that helps 🤷‍♂️ but yeah some Banking apps might pickup on jailbreaks

Hey guys so I fixed the issue with the tweaks that weren’t working at the beginning

The fix was downgrade all the beta versions back to stock App Store version.

Then enabled the tweaks injecting onto the apps

So now I have

Yeah I’m on A12Z and every time I hit jailbreak, takes a good 5-7 minutes to boot up and then can’t open nathanlr app again until I hit refresh app registrations, but then in the app it says jailbreak again. No sileo or anything shows up
