like theres some apps who just bump up the version requirement and change nothing

so you could just install that app in ts and be fine

but in other cases they change actual stuff which makes the app not work on older versions

in some cases you can patch them to make them work and then install them using trollstore or something

I want to avoid such cases. So if opt for the 17.0 phone I know that I should theoretically get an extra year or so of support

However if I can use dopamine to spoof or what not then I would opt for the 16.2 device where I can get my eq everywhere etc

Additionally, I had the thought of opting for 17.0 and relying on TrollStore until the next jb drops
