If you are met with an error trying to install the profile after <t:1702530000:D>, you can get around this by setting your device’s date back to a point before <t:1702530000:D> and trying to install the profile again, after it is installed you can set your device’s time back to normal and it will continue blocking updates until the scheduled expiration date.

You can re-enable updates by uninstalling this profile in Settings -> General -> Profiles & Device Management.

If you're jailbroken, you can also install the OTADisabler tweak instead, but note that it is harder to remove while unjailbroken.

i have been out of the loop since then, but now i am hearing about the ability to upgrade to 17.0 without blobs and install trollstore. is this something i should do or should i stay on 14.3?

Considering you are on a version supported by TrollStore and a jailbreak I reccomend to absolutely stay on your device firmware and not to update, the arbitrary and ultimately useless features Apple packs their IOS versions with cannot compare to ones you can find with actually working sideloading and the tweaks and packages found in a package manager like Sileo or Zebra.

1. Uninstall all tvOS profiles in Device Management Section.
2. It will prompt restart. Restart it.
3. Go to this link: https://static.itsnebula.net/apple/noota/17.mobileconfig
4. Install tvOS 17 profile and restart device.
5. Done !

what i did was

1. uninstalled all otadelay and tvOS profiles, restarted phone
2. installed the tvOS profile from that link, restarted phone
3. checked software update, it said device is up to date on 16.6
4. installed ota delay 17.0 profile alongisde the tvOS profile
5. checked software update, it still said device is up to date on 16.6
6. uninstalled the tvOS profile but kept the ota delay 17.0 profile, restarted phone
7. checked software update, it offered 16.6.1 and also additionally 17.0

Since I have a IPhone 12 on 16.5.1 should I delayOTA to 16.6.1/17.0 or stay on the firmware I'm at? Being in the middle of two installation methods for TrollStore is getting to me and I was also wondering if any other firmwares have a better chance for TrollStore 2.
