If I try to load the tweaks, and respring, it shows the loading circle, and stays on it forever until I force restart. Then it shows the apple logo and starts again, un-jailbroken.

1. Install EmojiFontManager and EmojiPort
2. download the 15.4 ttc https://github.com/PoomSmart/EmojiLibrary/releases/download/0.15.4/AppleColorEmoji-160px.ttc
3. make a folder in /Library/Themes/EmojiFontManager eg: 15.4b.font
4. Copy the ttc to that folder and name it [e-mail]
5. apply it and respring

I am not sure how this happened but I am unable to swipe onto the sidebar and also cannot swipe to a certain page on my phone. Using the edit home screen function and clicking on the tiny dots at the bottom of the page, I can see there is a single page with find my phone app on it that I cannot swipe to, when I unselect that page to get rid of it it also gets rid of all my apps on the other page and disallows me swiping to the side bar once again. My iPad ran out of battery and when I went to rejailbreak it with my Mac it won’t seem to launch into the jailbreak. It was jailbroken, I was using carbridge for about and hour, and it just stopped working

I noticed it went to unjailbroken state, so I tried jailbreaking again

I am following the ios.cfw.guide page for blobless updating my ipad0S 13.5.1 to 14.8.1 and made it thru all of the steps right up to the step where i actaully install 14.8.1 ... i was able to download it in the settings app but when i hit install it says "Verifying Update" and then "Unable to verify update as you are no longer online"

it lets me retry or remind me later.... i hit retry and get the same you are not online message

yeah the guy that came out with otaDelay has a way for <14.5.1 to upgrade to 14.8.1 still until the 13th of this month... however i cant seem to get it to install idk what to do... it keeps saying im not connected to the internet after i download the update and try to press install

i just tried installing Dallas, RootFS, and updating and getting the same "You are no longer connected to the internet" update failure after it downloadeds in settings

I heard about succession but it seems risky on 14.8

And I understand that restore rootfs doesn't actually get rid of everything because I've used it before and when I rejb my settings for some tweaks were still there

If you erase from device it will keep 14.8

If you restore a backup made while jailbroken, it will restore some jailbroken files

Open the checkra1n app on your home screen and tap "Restore System". If the icon has disappeared or you get "Restore Error: General", reboot and re-jailbreak.

Chimera's success rate is poor and can take multiple attempts to successfully jailbreak, especially on older devices.

Tips to increase success rate:

• Update to the latest Chimera version (ideally 1.6.4 or later)
• Make sure the device is charged above 20%
• Reboot after a failed attempt
• Wait 60 seconds before jailbreaking after a reboot/failed attempt
• Turn low power mode off
• Put your device in front of an air conditioner or fan
