guys i have a massive problem: i jailbroke my iphone x 13.3.x unc0ver and i did a kernal level fix on my starling bank app and i backed up my whole phone to icloud. I cant remember what happened but I updated my iphone x and the starling bank app never worked on that phone since and when i did fresh ios install and download starling app it works but if i restore it from my icloud backup it dont work and this has carried onto my new phone my iphone 13. Does anyone know of any fix other than just starting from fresh?

which makes it an issue for unjailbroken devices too

but i can see why apps may detect them, eg: files dropped by some malicious tool

Coming back again it’s day 4. I still can’t rejailbreak or rootfs. (IPh11, 14.7.1, u0 8.0.2) The exploit fails and crashes every time I’ve tried (has to be over 250 times at this point) both with jailbreaking and a root fs attempt. All I can post is screenshots of u0, I can’t get my tweaks list out. Any advice would be appreciated here’s some things I’ve already tried;

Airplane Mode
Background App Refresh Disabled
Rotation Lock on/off
DND on/off
Clean reinstall of Altstore, u0, or different versions of each
Jailbreak w/o loading tweaks

DFU (Device Firmware Upgrade) mode is a mode which allows a device in any condition to be restored to a fresh version of iOS (not to be confused with Recovery Mode). You cannot keep data when restoring via DFU and you can only restore to a signed version.

To restore via DFU:

• Enter DFU Mode
• Once you enter DFU, the device should show a black screen.
• Connect the device to a Mac/PC and open Finder/iTunes.
• On the prompt that says "A device has been connected in recovery mode and needs to be restored" press "Restore iPhone" then "Restore and Update.”

After the original JB on this phone, I installed altdaemon and forgot to reinstall unc0ver to keep semi-untether. Unc0ver expired under the original app ID, and I reinstalled altstore AND Unc0ver. This is where my original issue began (unable to rejailbreak/root fs, exploit crashes at 2/32 resulting in softreset I’ve heard referred to as ‘kernel panic’)

I’m led to believe that this chunk is causing severe issues with reliability, I’m looking for a way to clean up this “shared data” if anyone can provide an answer or suggestion I’m all ears.

In more complex terms, I think Unc0ver is utilizing data from multiple versions of Unc0ver simultaneously, due to an error caused by altdaemon not functioning in a semi-jailbroken state

It should be noted I have another screenshot of the exact same screen, only instead of altstore, the (null) data is shown with the u0 logo and displays “unc0ver” near the bottom. As well the data will sometimes vanish from the list for a few seconds, and then reappear as before

If you're on an unjailbreakable version, you'll have to erase your device and set up as new or use a backup that was taken before jailbreaking.

To re-enable OTA updates, install OTAEnabler from https://repo.cadoth.net.

If you're on an unjailbreakable version, you'll have to erase your device and set up as new or use a backup that was taken before jailbreaking.

btw, you shold use libhooker-configurator instead of tweak restrictor (for future reference)

Idk if this is the right place to ask help for my issue but I just got a new Iphone 13 mini with IOS 15.1.1, my issue is when I try to connect to the appstore with my Apple ID. I fill in my credentials (which I'm sure are correct), press "Sign In", see the loading icon top left appear but after 5 seconds it dissapears and nothing else happens.

I haven't done the update to 15.2 since I know an exploit might be getting released pretty soonish

I've tried a hard reset of the phone, signing out and back in with my apple account, nothing helps

I know this is not fully jailbreak related (maybe not even at all) related but I need to back up my iPhone I like to do it on my computer so I don't pay for iCloud (idk just don't) but it says my iPhone backup is encrypted with a password now it's not to bad as my iPhone is not on it's last legs it's working 100% fine and is just an XR so it's not that old. **But when I go to change the password on my encryption for my backup I get told I need to know the old password (even if I try to back it up without encryption) and I do not know it. How do I change the password so I can safely backup my iPhone incase anything happens? (I do jailbreak my phone and have a scare when I was boot looping with my jailbreak fixed it without needed a computer but still panicked).

Edit I got the password (guessed it) but it's saying not enough space to backup iphone on my computer even though on the d drive (where I'm 90% sure I installed iTunes to) I have 3x the space needed to back up the iPhone.

(Also don't need space but iTunes is saying a dif storage amount free then my iPhone in settings which one is accurate it's off by more then 1gb.).
