How to fix this error:
Unable to check for update. An error occurred while checking for a software update.
Method 1 (easiest): Install OTAEnabler.

Method 2: Open unc0ver, tap the gear icon, turn OFF "Disable OTA updates", tap Done, tap the Jailbreak button.

If you're still having issues make sure you didn't disable the OTA daemon in iCleaner and you don't have the tvOS/watchOS beta profile. If you are still having issues, you may need to DFU restore.

I checked, once you install (with pledge active) it will generate a license. As long as you don't reset your device the license will be stored on your device meaning you don't have to keep pledging.

You can obviously keep your pledge going if you want to support creators, not saying people should cancel immediatly.

A few days ago I tried downgrading an app, and the app proceeded to delete itself, not letting me redownload it. Because of this, now I can’t boot into my iPad on a jailbroken os unless I’m in safe mode, and I know it’s because of this since loading the apps manager on Filza crashes the app. I’ve tried deleting all the files for the app, deleting app caches with iCleaner, and deleting the tweak that let me downgrade the app, but nothing has worked. Is there anything I can do to boot into jailbroken os again?

If you're still having issues make sure you didn't disable the OTA daemon in iCleaner and you don't have the tvOS/watchOS beta profile. If you are still having issues, you may need to DFU restore.

when i go through the installation process of fugu i get to the stage of opening placeholder and then back to altstore to download the os firmware and then it crashes. im left with a fish on my screen which crashes and when i re open altstore, unc0ver has a fish :joy instead of the normal logo. altstore says unc0ver is installed but its not.ive redone everything so may times i dont know what else to try 😦

On jailbroken devices, you can install SupervisedEnabler. If unjailbroken, you'll have to use Apple Configurator 2 or iMazing.

Note: This won't work if you futurerestored with a SEP that's newer than the version you're trying to go to.

also there's much better alternatives to mybloxx
folded is actually quite buggy on 14 and it will not be updated by the devs. moving an icon while in a folder crashes springboard and it also messes with folders in app library

I jailbroke with u0, used supervisedenabler, rootfs'd, and installed the profile, making sure not to disable updates.

In software updates, it shows 14.8 as latest, it lets me download and verify it, but when it goes to install it, and shows the apple and install bar for like, half a second before rebooting without installing anything
