i can put it in DFU mode but thats about it, i even tried checkra1n to try to restore rootFS "/Applications/checkra1n.app/Contents/MacOS/checkra1n -c --force-revert" or the same command with a additional -s flag and any vombination i try give the same error:

I jailbroke it with Odyssey with the restore RootFS option checked.
This installed the new package manager.

However, I updated to 15.0.1 and ofc it's not jailbroken anymore. So I installed a banking-app and it says that the device is still jailbroken.

that's alright... I am too! Essentially what I've discovered today that, if your whole jailbreak crashes and you're presented with a prompt to restart your springboard, you can actually exit out of the prompt and go into cydia to uninstall the buggy tweak!

TV OS beta was the method used, but the profile has long expired and removed itself. I am considering that me playing with the date and time once may have caused this to happen.

Ultimately I am trying to get back my jailbreak. I strongly suspect that OTA has created a phantom partition and i cant see it buts its causing issues. One solution would be to download the OTA and then delete it thereby removing this temporary partition. This is further complicated by my broke OTA page which wont load the OTA's

Yesterday i bought a new macbook. Today i tried jailbreaking with checkra1n but when i try the step after the DFU mode, so holding the power and volume down button the phone just reboots into dfu and checkra1n tells me to retry. my windows laptop had the same problem when i tried using my usb-c cable but this macbook only has 2 usb-c ports. is there any fix for this?

I broke my screen and home button by running with my knife and phone in the same pocket. the home button doesn’t work (obviously) and it’s warming up extremely hot to the point it’s uncomfortable almost instantly after touching it.
