I would agree with that but that doesn't apply to tweak development. Learning as you want to make final product is good incentive however when you do it with tweak development, you are only learning how to do one specific thing. Specially since you would be messing with private APIs and that code has drastic differences as you go from one API to next.

SpringBoard, which has the most docs, is still mostly undocumented in many areas, especially new ones

took me a week to get my laptop to even boot and the only reason it ended up a stable machine is bc coolstar just so happened to have the exact same laptop and used to be big in the hackintosh scene
