some tips:
you can have you terminal match your wallpaper using pywal. though, i don't recommend this too much because it's best to use colors in the standard way (2 being red/orange for errors and such). also nice for readability

neofetch has a config which you can use to hide some of its output or enable a few.
neofetch has --off to hide ascii and images entirely
terminal transparency doesn't really go well with most setups unless you have blur. but if you have blur, you should be consistent about it.
you can create gtk themes using oomox (typically uses materia as a base, so there's not much variety)
