I believe the issue is that when I go into an app then go into the app switcher the widget is disabled until I go to the home screen, where it noticeably pops into existence

Issue happens with nothing but xen, I just didn't realize it

The best idea I have for why the widget pops in and out like that is because of the battery saver feature but even setting that to "low" which should fix it by its description doesn't work
