iphone x on 16.7 palera1n with snowboard. i added the theme, but had to manually rename many of the theme icons to match the bundle IDs. this worked for pretty much everything except camera.app & clock.app. oddly enough, appindex shows the themed icon.

To block OTA updates, you can install a modified tvOS beta profile. This works even without a jailbreak. Note that the profile expires and will stop blocking updates on <t:1706677200:D> (<t:1706677200:R>).

You can re-enable updates by uninstalling this profile in Settings -> General -> Profiles & Device Management.

If you're jailbroken, you can also install the OTADisabler tweak instead, but note that it is harder to remove while unjailbroken.

Why is all tech so "connected" now? Can't turn off Siri, background refresh, notifications, location use, etc. easily? Just want my phone for calls and texts and occasional web access but I'm constantly being effed over by Apple and Meta.
