We have a few small updates for the server today:

New users will now see a prompt when joining the server asking them to read and agree to the server rules before being able to chat
#roles is now handled by our new bot @jovial pilot
Anyone with the Member+ role or above can go into #bot-commands and add their birthday into the bot so they will automatically get the <@&459007852728811520> role on their birthday. !mybirthday <month (int)> <date (int)> so you would do !mybirthday 12 3 for December 3. Note that you can only run this command ONCE to ensure its not abused.

To clear up some misinformation about upcoming jailbreaks:

**There are 3 verified jailbreaks in development: **

Odyssey14 (Will get a new name) - Eventual support for iOS 14.0 - 14.3 all devices
unc0ver (6.0) - Safe to assume eventual support for iOS 14.0 - 14.3 all devices
checkra1n - Hopefully will push an update to fix iOS 14.5 support (A11 and below) once its out to the public

Regarding any other jailbreaks you may of heard about:
This is not to say that others in development from new developers/teams in the jailbreak community are fake, but to err on the side of caution, we will assume all other jailbreaks are fake until proven legitimate.

Steps taken to prevent the spread of these unverified jailbreaks:

On Reddit, mods have been removing posts and mentions of these jailbreaks until the teams behind them send the mods a message with adequate proof of legitimacy. Additionally, the names of these jailbreaks have been added to the subreddit filter.
On this Discord server, we will not provide support or news regarding the development of these unverified jailbreaks, we will follow the subreddit in terms of what to decide is legitimate or not.

Aimee Knight (née Challenor) is an ex-politician from the UK Green party, who resigned from the party after it was revealed she kept her father on her election team after he was convicted of raping and torturing a child. Her spouse has also been known to tweet pro-pedophilic statements, but she is also the latest admin to be hired at Reddit, and she used her power to surpress and permanently suspend a moderator of r/ukpolitics who posted an article exposing her links to pedophilia and support of child sex crimes.

Before you ask how long until the sub reopens, the answer is however long it takes for Reddit to take action. The decision by Reddit to protect a known proponent of child rape through censorship and suspension is absolutely disgusting and intolerable. We will remain private until further notice, and we apologize for any inconvenience.

PSA: Don't Fall For Fake Jailbreaks On April 1st

Every April Fools Day, some people think it's funny to go on Reddit, Twitter, and Discord to say a new jailbreak has been released for the latest iOS. In some cases, I've seen some people fall for it and update their devices for nothing.

So this is my warning to you, DO NOT FALL FOR IT!

For the small chance of a jailbreak being released on April 1st, you can verify its legitness by looking in 2 places:

On this subreddit, if the post has the "Jailbreak Release" flair
This channel, if it is posted here, it is legit.

Anyone found to be posting fake jailbreaks on r/jailbreak will be banned for 5 days as per usual, and permanently banned on Discord if done here.

Make sure you are not blocking OTA updates for this to work

(Optional) Rootfs & Erase contents and settings to get a fresh start with whichever iOS version you have right now
Jailbreak your current iOS version
Open package manager and install MyBloXXX from this repo: https://myxxdev.github.io/
Install the attached profile
Check settings and see if iOS 14.3 shows up as an OTA update
Restore RootFS
OTA Update to iOS 14.3
(Optional) Once you're on 14.3 you can erase all contents and settings and then jailbreak!

If you futurerestored your device after Jan 26, 2021 to get to iOS 14, this method will most likely NOT work for you and you may see the "not connected to the internet" error. You can read this post for more info: https://www.reddit.com/r/jailbreak/comments/mmr9y1

We are still unsure as to why A14 dosnt work, if I receive any other info on that, i'll put it here.

I updated the message above but it seems like the IOMFB vulnerability works on A10X as well. We have tested iPadOS 15.0.1, we will be testing iPadOS 13 and 14 later today.

Also, it works on the Apple TV 4K (A10X), tested on tvOS 14.7!

Notes:

You have until around March 13th, 2022 to do this method.
You must be able to jailbreak on your current firmware

What's a blob?
It is a file containing a special key specifically for that one device to allow downgrading to a specific firmware.
They're like golden tickets, but instead a digital signature made by Apple that was saved at the time when the signing window was open. If you possess one (or many), keep them safe.

How do they work?
They can be used in a program called futurerestore to restore to a firmware in which the SEP/Baseband is compatible. To check SEP/Baseband compatibility, check /tag sepbb.

Make sure to not use misleading sites.

Regardless of SEP/Baseband compatibility, any/all blobs should be saved for future downgrading abilities.

Can I save them now?
Of course. Blobs can be saved at any time, but it is crucial to save them when Apple releases new firmware, because they can only be saved for versions that are currently signed.There is one exception to this: if you are jailbroken and Apple has unsigned the version you're currently on, you may save onboard blobs for that version.

When an iOS version is unsigned, that means you can no longer downgrade, nor upgrade, nor re-restore to that version. If you are currently on that version, nothing changes for you. This does not mean you can jailbreak that version, nor does this mean a jailbreak is coming soon for that version.

With that being said, futurerestore allows you to downgrade/upgrade/re-restore to unsigned versions, but you must meet certain requirements in order to use it. For more information, see /tag canidowngrade and /tag futurerestore.

openpwnage is the first 32-bit jailbreak that works on ALL versions of iOS 9 and its betas which is why i'm pinging for it. It is semi-untethered and can be found here: https://github.com/zachary7829/openpwnage/

Just a quick PSA, Discord broke Oath2 for iOS 14 and below around 10 days ago and hasn't fixed it yet.

This means you won't be able to log into websites that use Discord authentication if you are using the affected versions.

Regarding today's announcement from the Odyssey Team:

Taurine15 will be named Cheyote and it will initially support iOS 15.0 - 15.1.1
There is no ETA for Cheyote but it is said to be released "in the near future"
It is a rootless jailbreak which means some/many tweaks will not work out of the box and will need updates from the developer for it to work
Support for iOS 15.2 - 15.4.1 will be looked into afterwards but is NOT guaranteed
iOS 15.4.1 is not being signed anymore by normal methods but if you are below 15.4.1 you can still upgrade to it using DelayedOTA until August 13 (#925909162666373140). If you are on 15.0 - 15.1.1, I would personally not recommend doing this. Note that you CAN'T, downgrade to 15.4.1. If you are on 15.5, do not update any further
Once Cheyote is released, the <@&401841891966189568> role will be automatically converted into the Cheyote role and will be used to ping for all releases of CoolStar jailbreaks such as Electra, Chimera, Odyssey, Taurine and Cheyote
iOS 12 will NOT be considered legacy upon the release of the iOS 15 jailbreak as it received updates up until last year @everyone

If you are on iOS 15.5 or 16.0, downgrade to iOS 15.5 beta 4. It is still being signed and vulnerable to the same things that 15.4.1 is (in terms of what matters for the jailbreak) @everyone
