I haven't used screen protectors in a while, not since they changed the material they use for the screens (something similar to the same glassed used in helicopters) which what it would take to actually scratch the screen i'm not sure a screen protector would help - atleast thats what I was told. Even after 2 1/2 years of heavy usage the screeen still looks brand new.

Actually I did buy a screen protector for a little while, it was a 'Paperlike Screen protector' because I use my Apple Pencil a lot and wanted to see how it worked using the Screen protector with the paper like surface.

It actually wore the original tip of the apple pencil (2nd gen) down after 2months of use to the point metal was showing!

So I got rid of the paper screen protector and ordered after market tips (8pack) that came with 5 different type of tips. I love em.

I'd buy a MacbookPro but since Apple switched from Intel Processors it's not longer worth it for me being a Tech I took advantage of running Bootcamp so I could run both Windows and OS X

I loved the fact that you could boot nativaly into either OS or you could boot into OS X and then run Virtual Machine of the actual window OS installed.

I still haven't figured out how to do that with my current Laptop without having to buy some 3rd party software to create a virtual image of my current Windows OS, you'd think the latest version of VMWare would be the ability but damned if I've found it,.

What's a blob?
They're like golden tickets, but instead a digital signature made by Apple that was saved at the time when the signing window was open. If you possess one (or many), keep them safe.

How do they work?
They can be used in a program called futurerestore to restore to a firmware in which the SEP/Baseband is compatible. To check SEP/Baseband compatibility, check /tag sepbb.

Make sure to not use misleading sites. Stick to reputable sites like ios.cfw.guide and AppleDB.

Regardless of SEP/Baseband compatibility, any/all blobs should be saved for future downgrading abilities.

Can I use other people’s blobs?
No. Blobs are a file containing a special key specifically for that one device to allow downgrading to a specific firmware. Due to the way they work, only Apple can create them for your own device.

Can I save them now?
It depends. Blobs can be saved at any time while they are signed, and it is crucial to save them when Apple releases new firmware, because they can only be saved for versions that are currently signed. There is one exception to this: if you are jailbroken and Apple has unsigned the version you're currently on, you may save onboard blobs for that version. If you are not jailbroken you cannot save blobs for an unsigned version.
