So, Debian is eternal because it moves very, very slowly, and thus when people say "My games/devices/etc don't work on Linux!" that's largely because they don't know how to pull experimental and manage their own kernel etc, but also it means Debian, even "experimental Debian" is rock solid and very hard to bring down. That part is nice. Ubuntu took that and made it corpo and with corpo support came widespread adoption in data centers.

Arch is for folks who want their OS to be their hobby as you're in "beyond experimental" mode as far as Debian would be concerned. Cachy just makes some of the choices for you, which is fine by me for now. I still need BTRFS to do a rollback on occasion I understand 🤪 but I haven't needed to yet. It will be faster than Clonezilla at recovery.

Fish is great, if you need POSIX compliance just run explicitly with ⁨bash ...⁩ and you still have what you need

I've used zsh for quite a while now and it's mostly because I like how it lets me nav directories; I used powershell9k and 10k for years and now starship, but fish may solve a lot of the stuff I needed plugins for out of the box, so we'll see

The combat and such is very solid, if not groundbreaking. It's a fun turn-based system, but if you're an experience JRPG player, you can break it pretty easily. The story, presentation, writing, and voice acting is all top notch though, and that's the main draw of the game.

Granted, a lot of the most used resamplers can be very good
But it does very much depend on what settings are used with them
Like, I think Audacity uses SoX based on all information I can find (which is not much, so not 100% sure) but it only scores 70% here
A lot more issues than just noise and fast frequency cutoff (both not bad at "best" setting.. other issues seem far more significant)
The selling point of ARDFTSRC seems to be that it not only ranks among the best, but is also extremely optimized speed-wise

you cant actually "change roles" in Discord using CSS. you could at most change the color of your name for yourself to see, but no-one else would see it, and you would not be able to access areas with that role, since the server itself knows you dont have that role

oh for sure if you are an expert and that task is trivial like boilerplate then you don't reduce your skills by having an ai make it for you but that takes 5+ years of experience not having ai do things to get to that point. At least thats what i keep seeing from studies done on ai use.
