Does anyone know of any video players for windows that let you play videos layered on top of each other?

I was thinking for shows that have watermarks that I watch a lot I could remove the watermark but it would require re-encoding the entire video and losing quality or making the filesize much bigger. If there was a player that supported layers I could encode just the part of the video that has had the watermark removed and overlay it on top.

In fact if there's not a player maybe I could do this with OBS? Send the two video streams to OBS and composite them and then set OBS to provide a local network stream to a player such as VLC or MPC-HC

I just need to work out how to syncronise the playback. I can't find anything online for how to play two media sources or two vlc sources simultaneously in OBS. As in starting them at the same time.

I know VLC can output video to a network stream so perhaps I can open the two videos in VLC. Synchronise the playback using the VLC watch together plugin, send them to separate RTMP servers, add them as a souce in OBS then output to another RTMP server or create a network stream using custom ffmpeg output and finally open the composited video stream in another instance of VLC

That method should support pausing and scrubbing through the video too

I use Fire TV 4K Max on a couple of my TVs now, and my mother has a Toshiba Fire TV ( built in Fire TV ) and they seem to be fine. Dolby Vision on the Maxs, and Wi-Fi 6e, gets a good signal, and can easily watch all my 4k UHD discs I've ripped on Plex with nu buffering.
