my fix wasn't about CQP values as much as it was actually making it use CQP.
Issue is there was no preset for AMF AV1, so it was using the encoder defaults of CBR 2500. My fix was just to make it use an actual preset.

hello guys , i dunno if this is the place where i should put this issue but...

i have had this issue about 3-5 days ago while streaming the issue i have is that when i first start the stream everything seems fine and all alerts working just fine but after sometime of the stream not sure how long my alerts or if i may say all my browser sources start lagging as in (follower / bits/ raids) events start lagging and freezing so badly i did try refreching the sources and did turn off hardware acceleration in the browser removed the sources and put it back again but it didn't seems to fix anything and based on the task manger my pc is fine on performance cpu+gpu 60% and 72% max and network connection is fine aswell as bitrate always green

(note: i am using streamelements for alerts).

So I have a qn in relation to gpu and fps,

From what I know, for game apps when u select the fps to be 60 the gpu then renders the game at 60fps and sends it to the monitor display

But on the other hand, for the non gaming apps like lets say obs studio, at what fps does the gpu render the app and send it to the monitor ?

And also does the gpu output the same fps for static images and videos ?

apps, ideally, render at the configured monitor refresh rate - on windows this is determined by DWM. the canvas in OBS can be considered like a game, and therefore it runs at the FPS you've configured OBS for
