i think it’s gonna work well with the landscaping too

like a tyrannosaurus will require a lot of forest territory

which will make ambushes more successfull

but a triceratops will require much less forests and more open ground to stay together more efficient and know about the predator’s location sooner

I really hope this will be an actual thing

a learning / adapting AI for such games is just cool

Also, one thing i really want to see if such thing is implemented

is larger carnivores going for “pack hunting”

if an allosaurus fails to hunt down a sauropod alone, another allosaurus joins in for support

then again, there should be a limit

if they still fail, depending on the sauropod, they’ll stop pack hunting on the species

tho, it depends on also health

if a sauropod is old, suffers from an injury or is sick, the hunting success rate incrases

letting 2-3 allosaurus take down the sauropod with ease

also, if going for hunts like Argentinosaurus, megatheropods such as Carcharodontosaurus should rely on that technique where they tear off chunks of flesh from the sauropod to let it bleed out

after injuring the argentinosaurus enough, the carcharodontosaurus will start to slow down and hide in plain sight, following the injured argentinosaurus from a distance, until finishing it off when it’s on the last breath.

also, predators should be able to defend the carcass too, and rest beside it instead of leaving it for the rest
