In a Mario Kart game with 24 PLAYERS, the fact a single shock can get a dodged play from 17TH TO 1ST is nothing short of a huge buff
Second pointer, how it affected hit players: while yes, they've definitely shortened down the time between getting shocked and getting back up to speed actually feels a lot more fair and more feels like it is something to STRATEGISE around
Because you know what other MK game has everyone growing out of a shock at the same time?

You worked your way up one way or another, and that's good, but at the same time, you've got to KEEP that 1st place
