I love that Unblessed is an option - make it a bit more viable by adding some basic Passive abilities for things like bonus health and regeneration, armour and resistances, attack speed and weapon damage and maybe movement speed and dodge chance?

Would also be nice to add the option to turn barrier into a permanent buff that reserves energy.

unblessed is like no mastery at all? it's crazy people are even doing that yea. but maybe it's supposed to be a massive self imposed debuff so it would take away from it getting extra skills?

I didn't realize there was a class for not selecting any mastery. If that's the case, if they added an achievement for beating the game without selecting a mastery it could prove a fun(?) challenge

no, i dont know so i was asking. because "unblessed" sounds like that. or did you mean just choosing 1 mastery?

Yeah, I just like the idea of taking on the gods as a more or less normal person haha but I think it should still only be very basic support and passives so it can scale better at higher levels.

But the unblessed is all about challange, and you already have plenty of ways to make it much stronger by just boosting core skills.

Giving you passive... "bonus health and regeneration, armour and resistances, attack speed and weapon damage and maybe movement speed and dodge chance" makes you another viable class, which kills whole purpose of having a more challanging run than with masteries.

well especially with 1 mastery i dont really see the drawback. you can just dump all of your points into that 1 mastery that doesn't necessarily make you weaker.

#

so i dont see a reason to compensate you for that

yea thats what i thought "unblessed" means

@obtuse flax No, I mean, The guy wants to buff unblessed. I said it doesnt need a buff.
And you say the game is not challanging. Hence me asking, whats your point regarding the topic you are responding in.

He is replying to your claim that unblessed is all about the challenge.
That's why he says (paraphrasing) "there isn't even any challenge, really"

# red zealot ok thats fair. It was just wording on my part. Playing unblessed is harder or an...

Sure it's harder and annoing and Core masterys are a big waste of time and self gimping if there are not more points to spent then we can put into the mastery trees. You are 100% right with this.

From my point of understanding Core skills are just there to compliment your builds at a certain point and intentionaly lack power and give stuff like better mobility, tankyness or some minor buffs you don't care about at all.

I WANT my godly blessings to be better and more intresting then good old human "I hit things often and hard and see what happens".

I WISH core skills had more synergys to interact with the skills we use so we can start to make some builder/spender playstyle happen but right now you can sustain spamming exhaust skills that deal 40k+ dps.

Maybe it would be neat to get a Core Mastery point every level up to spend it freely but even then I would only buff movement and barrier because the auto attacks are realy bad no matter what.

Yeah but putting points in stuff that is bad by design feels terrible ๐Ÿ˜„ .

To elaborate a bit... I like to put free points into Dash if I have any because this offers some form of profit. I never use Barrier because you can facetank everything at +5 (or kill so fast it don't matter if you are tanky). I never ever use auto attacks as soon as I can spam my skills.

To me 80% of what Core offers is crap.

I've said it in other threads, and i'll say it again. The game would be more fun if "core" was deleted, and the various attack/dodge/barrier benefits were instead added as theme-appropriate passive skills within each mastery
