and other items to show that we helped support u before main release. so then we can brag to all the others who didnt want to help u when u first got started. long term fans will apprieciate this more and wont think twice on giving u more money

It's a single player game with optional coop, who are you bragging to? You already get a huge discount buying into EA. The full game will be more expensive at launch.

But back to the topic at hand -- Devs have stated we will have no vanity pets (i.e. small critters that look cute and follow you around but do nothing in terms of gameplay)

I agree that something to say "hey, I was here to support the game and provide feedback early" would be good. Maybe something based on actually submitted bug reports so it relies on people actually supporting the development process.

I would prefer a basic armour set or something that can be illusioned on later as a visual sign of support since most early game item sets only get you so far
