User Preference really. Some have learned on OBS Studio and prefer that. Streamlabs Desktop has most all of the same features and has our Widgets and other services and products integrated in the application so some prefer Streamlabs Desktop.

It depends on how many scenes and sources you have. Some overlays that have animated elements can cause increased CPU usage as can having a lot of browser sources.

Hey guys, I'm new here!

Can anyone tell me why my chat is disabled when i'm streaming via my Streamlabs software to YouTube? How can I enable it??
Is it inside streamlabs, or the website dashboard or Youtube studio??

I'm freaking out ^^ A few days ago i had a perfect stream with chat enabled and now it's disabled for one reason or another!

Good question! I'm not sure about that. Someone else here might know or you might reach out to Twitch on that. My gut says there's not an automatic way to do that but don't quote me on that.

Always engage with your audience. If you noticed someone posting in chat for the first time, give them a warm welcome. Use a bot like Cloudbot or Chatbot and enable the loyally system so viewers gain points. Makes them invested and want to come back for more points. If you're on a PC, they should be in your Videos folder. You can check this in Streamlabs Desktop by bringing up the settings by clicking on the ⚙️ icon in the lower left corner then go to Output -> Recording and check the path.

No dropped frames, no performance drops, no hitches and no complaints.

So far so good, but on streamlabs my suspended account is still connected. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app but nothing worked. Do you have a tip or an idea please? Apparently, Streamlabs Desktop's Auto-Updater somehow broke in version 1.9.0. Got it to update by deleting Cache and restarting
