Hi there! So the issue does not appear to be global or affecting all users, but we do think that part of the issue is coming from the Facebook Page changes that they have put out in recent months. We don't currently have any workarounds, so my apologies for that. Right now, we can only recommend that users view their chat from Facebook!

Can someone explain to me why when I’m playing warzone 2.0 without having Streamlabs open, I have my max fps. But when I have Streamlabs open, even without having Streamlabs streaming something I drop frames in game. Even if I am streaming I don’t drop fps on stream but only in game. But as soon as I close my Streamlabs my fps goes back up to the max. Please help as I have all my settings on low, and tried everything possible

If you're going to be streaming or recording, you want your FPS in game, in Streamlabs Desktop, and on your monitor to all match and be a a multiple of 60 but really no higher than 120. "Unlimited Frames" maybe good for just playing but doesn't make the viewing experience on the end platform, like Twitch, any better. They can't render more than 120 FPS. So capping your FPS makes your system work more efficiently. I have all mine set to 120 and streams and recordings look fine and the game play good even when not streaming or recording.

in short, Try lowering the quality of the game so Streamlabs Desktop has some breathing room to compose the frames of the encoder. You can also limit the FPS or use V-sync. Lock your settings in your game to 120FPS and 120Hz, as this nicely divides for 60FPS and 30FPS streaming.

Just hide the source if you don’t want it on stream. Hover over your source and click the eyeball icon. EasyButton Or just don’t add a source for your camera in the first place. It’s not a requirement to stream with a camera.

I’m not aware of what you’re waiting on, sorry. Okay wasn’t sure if I was allowed to do that here. I stream through twitch on Xbox. I was recommended stream labs to make things look nicer. I have a template and things laid out but from what I gathered since I only have a laptop I need the Xbox app to be a “middle man” if you will to allow the features from stream labs apply to the Xbox. My issue is that I have a Mac which the Xbox is not available for download. Any ideas?

You might check out our subscription service, Streamlabs Console. Its currently available only for Xbox. Its all configured via a web browser, no capture card needed, and it doesn't care if your computer is a PC or a Mac.

I'm looking at streaming a few games that I play and I was looking for advice because I have rather an unusual situation.

My pc is a few years old and does run the games I like to play at decent framerate, but only barely - if I were to try streaming with it too, it would be completely crippled.
I am, however aware of dual pc streaming - but I don't have a second pc. I have a phone that has 16gb of ram and a snapdragon processor, so it should handle streaming perfectly fine - is there a way to use this for dual setup streaming? (could I attach it to, for example, a hd60 and stream the PC games from my phone?)

It supports both displayport and usb tethering if that matters

^ No Streamlabs tool that can do this really. Our mobile app can share either your camera or your screen. The user of capture cards is not something our app does unless you can frankenstein something with the screen capture. Not quite sure if there are other ways to achieve this.
