But discord drops down to 700kbps at the first sign of any jitter. Which is a result of the coax medium and can't be helped even in perfect conditions

When I do a discord "go live" stream it will start at 8MBPS, but if i use any other internet traffic whatsoever, or sometimes even if I don't. It will self throttle down to around 700kbps

My router can actually utilize the DSCP marking discord does in the high priority packet option (DSCP value 40)

Cake actually uses tins for DSCP 40 at a 25% threshold meaning that of my 40mbps, 25% is prioritized over everything else. I'm using diffserv4 on Cake

If CS5 (DSCP 40) exceeds that 25% threshold it's only downgraded to best effort which means it would only get dropped if my queue was maxed, but this never happens

I have a question about monitoring and in depth audio settings. I have another question regarding audio in my source settings. not sure what channel to write in so trying here, would annyone be so kind to help me out understanding a few settings in streamlabs desktop? i am streaming on ultrawide 1440p, i have set bitrate to 25000 since the only info i could find was 18000 for regular 1440p, but twitch wont take all the bitrate, thats ok, but how do i then get the picture to not be blurry/corny? my preset is at low latency quality, i will set myself into all the settings eventually but right now in order to test out the different stream platforms i just need the picture quality to be good, twitch seems fine when im live but then very corny at VOD, facebook throttles it to 720p before i get level up program and even then its only 1080p, youtube seem fine but it wont show true ultrawide, its 16:9 with ultrawide inside so black bars over and under. so it looks like its gonna be twitch for me, but i just need to understand these tunings abit more. anyone bothered to help a fellow out? thank you in advance

Hey guys, maybe someone can help me here before I really have to contact support.

My microphone audio is quite normal in Streamlabs, I see the deflections, the direct test of the microphone works perfectly, even with video recordings I hear everything that should be heard.

But as soon as I start my stream, I still see the sound level of my microphone deflecting. but none of this comes through in the stream itself.
only my desktop audio is transmitted.

Hello all! Does anybody recommend a way to add neat camera filters in Streamlabs? Streamlabs used to have the Face Mask thing and I know that's gone now :(, and I tried Snap Camera but it just doesn't work with my setup.
I'd really like the option to even just do a basic pixelized filter, and Streamlabs is lacking any real creative presets. Any suggestions for apps or something else?

Imo Streamlabs is dead. This discord used to be a place where you could ask for help and someone would help you. Now that I am back and seeking assistace I see alot of people asking for help and being told to fill out a form that not even I can fill out. @night token @potent pilot. Can you do better?

Your stream scenes/widgets can be used without any kind of affiliate status needed! Streamlabs Desktop has a lot of free overlays that are themed, and you can search "free" to find all of the non-Prime ones.

Custom emotes, you would have to be affiliated for and all of that is set up through the platform (Twitch, for example). KevThumbsUP

Not a directly slobs related question or issue, but I'm trying to find a live captioning tool that I can run in slobs. I'm currently using Pixel Chat, but I have to use chrome to run the listening part of the tool and then have a browser source in slobs. I'm kindof wanting something that can just run in slobs similar to this plugin for obs.

Hey @turbid gyro we don't have such a tool available quite yet, but I believe it's been talked about integrating such a feature. There wouldn't be any tools available to Streamlabs Desktop only currently for live captioning, sorry about that. Im having an upsetting issue with Streamlabs Desktop. My app crashed while I was editing a scene and said "an error has occurred which has caused StreamLabs to close". Now anytime I restart my app I get the same error. I've tired multiple troubleshoot attempts and even installed streamlabs on a second PC and nothing works. I get the same error on launch on a totally separate PC.

Does anyone know a solution or where I should go with my questions?

hey people ive been using the normal "obs" and wanting to switch over to streamlabs and it keeps on crashing when i try to start the application. ive been trying for 3 days to solve this ive tried EVERYTHING, the troubleshooting from streamlabs them selves on their site, downloaded the gpu drivers, allowed streamlabs in firewall, i even went so far that i reset my pc. now im reaching out to one of yall because their support wont answer my emails for some reason. i just get this message on my screen when i try to start "see pic". if anyone has any ideas PLEASE hit me up in the chat or dm me i beg u i need to fix this im not giving up untill im fixing it

Genuine tech question; not related to SL at all, just an overall and curious if anyone else has experienced this and would know why: Most of the time when I play Valorant I get 240fps. Sometimes I click play on the game and get in game and get like 15 max. The problem is always fixed after a restart of the game and loading back. Would this have to die with the GPU just not rendering that session properly? It’s a 3070, not sure if that helps. Just an interesting bug.

Anyone had issues before where they set up their bits and donations animations, when testing shows it as the ones you changed but when you get an actual donation or bits it plays the default - I have also re added the widget and also replaced with the browser link but all do the same thing? as mentioned when doing the test it works perfect?
