Right, we have the Streamlabs Controller app (which is used for Streamlabs Desktop) but nothing for Studio just yet. I've had this question come up a couple of times just this morning, so I'm going to pass it along to our product team so we can maybe talk about planning this for the future.

But yes, I do wish I could make a recommendation for what other streamers are using, but I'm not entirely sure. 😦

Everyone has their personal opinion, both programs have their perks and differences. OBS does allow some third party plugins that we do not, for example, but all of our widgets are built in for ease of use. So it really depends on what you prefer. 🙂

Some people even use OBS but with Streamlabs widgets. All in the eye of the beholder, really.

Streamlabs doesn't delete your videos, never has, and never wll. That permission is required in order for Streamlabs to work with the API.

My condolences on the passing of your Grandfather. For MacOS, Safari is preferred but seeing as you have a guest account, you maybe prevented from installing software.

You may be able to go to Apple Support and have them help you out. They were really good with me but I just had to provide evidence that I owned the computer (when I just forgot my password ). I'm sure that if you were able to show that the prior owner was your grandpa/that they had passed that they could help you out

@lilac tusk We don't allow for changing of usernames in this discord as it can be abused. What particular thing does Twitch need for you to change in the Streamlabs server? The name change on here would just be a nickname, you'd have to change your discord name at the discord settings level if anything.

I don't think Twitch would need you to have the same name on this specific Discord as your Twitch username, we've never had that request.

Hello guys. Any suggestion for a "Now Playing" application or widget or plugin or something that allows to send the /title-artist/ to a plaint-text-based file? I usually use Winamp (i'm open to use another as long as it does what i want), i've tested lots of Winamp plugins, the closer to what i want is NowPlaying but it export the data in html format, so no good for using in Streamlab via text-source. Any recommendation please?
