This is 100% a great set-up! When I first started streaming 4-5 years ago, I was on a one-monitor set-up. I didn't even know how to check alerts/chat.

hey dude just started using streamlabs and am trying to hook it to my steam deck and noticed yours. what buttons are you using on it? do you know if there is a way to start and stop your stream from it?

Ive got a setup to start/end the stream - to record - switch scenes and to mute

I downloaded it but those options arent there for me. thats why I was a bit confused. It gives me a bunch of random things like stop scenes and there a one for a wheel but nothing for scenes or clipping.

If you’re doing it for fun. Then any of the Logitech or elgato options are plenty fine. Most “big” streamers started that way.

I have nexigo cameras. A normal 1080p on my monitor for basic stuff. Then my office living room TV has a big 4K one with built in mic that does 130 degrees viewing for meetings. I’m not unhappy with them.

I have one of the OG secret lab chairs and i've been working from home at over half of its life while gaming. It's a great chair but it definitely showing its age. I do agree that most gaming chairs are uncomfortable. can't speak to the newer secret lab chairs, but i obsess on the r/officechairs forum and they're like "only get a steelseries or herman miller" and i'm like "who has that kind of money in this economy?"

Currently thinking of upgrading the webcam to an ObsBot Meet SE for quality

i saw the that webcam at twitchon, which was very good but very expensive. I guess the question is do you really need a camera that will follow you around? Like I was thinking about using it as dog cams (because dogs like to move) but if not, it is a lot of money for something that you could get just as good if not better quality for cheaper. If you do need the movement aspect though, then i would go for it if you have the money.

like, i have the brio right now for work (which is actually a great webcam, the newer ones). I don't care for the stream cam but both of them are much more expensive than this. so i think that unless you're going to dslr this could potentially be the go to

The start of swapping from PC streaming to console streaming in my man cave. Got a little media PC that will have chat and stuff on it. Have a 130 degree wide angle room camera to get the whole couch. Dug out our nanoleafs to get some decoration on the couch wall (in progress). Have some work to do to take the mic and mixer over and make it functional without cables running across our floor.
