I love them
Interesting use of old Roblox textures
dog....... watching...
ik this is old, but how did you start to learn source, it just seems so overwhelming
As someone who is also learning Hammer, I recommend watching tutorials for the Hammer editor. I recommend tutorials by 3kliksphilip. They're old but still hold up and explain everything very well. These tutorials are mostly for Counter Strike but the Hammer editor is mostly the same across all Source games. Here is the playlist:

thx
It's best to learn basics first but if you wanna map for Portal 2, I recommend watching tutorials specifically for that as It's more complicated than basic mapping. I have never made a map for Portal 2 as of now, only Gmod maps I haven't published yet as they're unfinished.
okay so
before anything, i made sure to get hammer++
and then i just brute forced it the same way i learned roblox studio
trial and error
its alot more difficult than it actually is
in fact its literally a better roblox studio in some cases
alright, so it's just kinda spending time working with it?
were there any tutorials you used or anything
uhhh
In this video, I explain how to make 'arm panels' in Portal 2 Hammer, I cover how to make self-repairing arms, how to make ambient hanging arms, and how to make 4x4 angled panels for tests. Feel free to leave suggestions for more topics to make a tutorial on in the comments (although larger topics such as aesthetics will take much longer).
Addi...
this guys tutorials helped a ton
thx
