I see you’re going for that spiky piston vibe but I’m going to be honest and say the DMR style big ball and unseparated piston thing isn’t working.

If you look at some references from the general fusion prototype reactor you can see why - the proportions are a bit off and it makes the pistons look a tad whacky.

I’d suggest making the center sphere smaller and instead using the pistons themselves to form the shape of the reactor.
