Note: Me and Zayy would like to do this as it would be pretty interesting and all, itll be alot of work but the end result would be worth it! We also thought about having something special while the Core is running in normal state so there isnt always the need of melting it down. I made this poll to make sure yall would feel this idea.

Hello to everyone following the development page! I am very pleased to finally announce the upcoming release of OPEN BETA (v0.46c)!

What does that mean for you, as a player?

This will most likely be the largest, and probably the second longest stage of the game's development, mainly due to several changes being made as time goes on as we get new ideas, etc. This game is NOT finished, see below.

How does Open Beta work?

We are putting in the hope and faith that the game takes off well enough that we get lots of feedback from you guys, the players. While most games do simple beta versions, we want our game to be well aligned with the community. This stage of development relies entirely on YOUR feedback. Have an idea for a change? Send it to either me, @pastel tapir , or post it in the forum here and we can discuss it!

This game will be free and open to everyone, so be ready to play once it comes out! We would love your support by joining the group and discord server, as this is a huge achievement for us; we have been trying to get here for years. (YES, YEAR__S__!) We want to make a game that stands out from the rest, a game that lies well with the community. We are a two (soon to be three, see second announcement soon) person development team, and it took us a good while, with some other developers coming and going, to get where we are now. Thank you guys for the support, as it means a lot and is truly what motivates us to keep going! While I would love to say that there is an exact time that things like the meltdown and full official release have a defined release date, there is none, as we are a community-made development team, and we don't want to rush anything out (all of our work is voluntary as well). We love developing without worrying about deadlines, as it only stresses some of us out when life gets busy!

What will the first release include?

The first release (v0.46c) will include the following:

• Full Startup Sequence
• Stunning visual experience
• MOST of the startup preparations scripted
• Impressive audio design and soundscape

Some common considerations is that the game will NOT include the following on initial release:

• Meltdown (or any event other than the startup)
• Reactor Controls (for temperature, etc.)
• Reactor Monitoring systems (actively working on it!)
• Several other important items to check off the list
