I know that it has something to do with some firewall setting in my OS (windows 11 pro), but I cant find out what it is. I've tried turning off the firewall completely and still could not connect. Also, tried making rules, no go there neither. Can someone guide me into how to fix this issue? The only choice I see right now is, creating a server in the cloud somewhere and connecting to it that way, but that would be too cumbersome. Any thoughts/help is greatly appreciated. I've been on this for 2 days now...

Are you doing LAN ip? (182.168.0.x)
Or external ip, your not leaving network address as localhost right?

Yes I've tried LAN ip address (192.168.0.x), also tried leaving network address as localhost on server.
Server doesnt use network address, it can be anything, type in banana if you want 😂
Only needs to change on clients game 🫡
Theres a sharing network discovery setting on windows too. Check for that.
Also try a build as server, not editor, to rule out editor funkynezs.

Note it shouldnt be a Mirror issue, as i got it working fine few days ago, no changes needed, but i did have everything unblocked.

Network discovery/Sharing is on, turned off all firewalls, tried using a private network, created a server build (on this pc/network), still can't connect. I have another server setup elsewhere (off of this pc) and I can connect to that no problem. Is there anything else you can think of? Thanks for your help so far.
Got any mcaffee or norton, windows defender, extra security programmes?

Bruh, I got it to work. I reset the firewalls and reinstalled Unity so I could get that network permissions pop up for Unity. I then checked (to give Unity permission) both private and public networks and, viola! Working as expected. Geez Louis, I'm glad I got this to work again.
