I would love to see an announcements channel made for the squishables that get announced in #general. I have a hard time scrolling up and finding the ping sometimes, and having an organized place to look at new releases would be lovely.

I think it would be easier to have announcements too but thats just me. Sometimes it gets annoying being pinged unfortunately but thats just me

while you can do this, having an announcement channel better prevents it getting lost in the future, and is easier to keep all squishable releases in one space for people to view

Protip: you can search in the top right of the general channel and just search up @ everyone (minus the space I just don't want to accidentally ping everyone lol)
Since it'll most likely be an at everyone, if it's not you can also search in @<yourusernamehere> if it's not that
